Pretty sure its just the paint job and the eye holes themselves havent been modded, but I'm trying to figure out if his mouth was modded. It kind of looks like it might have been a little but its hard to tell.

oh wow,,seeing all this Eiji customs makes me want to save up for him..i like the final design of his body but never liked the outcome of his head sculpt..seems like it can be adjusted on the face up..

This thread gives me so much life but also suffering-- I went from "I don't like Eiji" to "I NEED AN EIJI" over the course of this thread.

I do love silva she did my Gaara mod. I did not recognise this as a smdoll until I read it was XD.

My Eiji has 20mm Volks eyes in. Even so, I think he look better with smaller pupils and the pupils on these are still kinda big,which is why I'm waiting on the official blue Eiji eyes to come out. Danny already confirmed he is making a Eiji eyes in multiple colours, just not when he'll release them.

There may be other sources for eyes with smaller pupils but i don't really know what they are. Of course, pupil size is just a matter of preference.

I don't know about Eiji, but on the Smart Doll site (scroll down to the blue spec sheet) Mirai's head cirbleepference is listed as 210mm (8.27 inches).

There's actually a schematic image with all of Eiji's measurements...I wish they had that for all the dolls!

There's a semi-schematic of Mirai too (and by extension Kizuna, Ebony & Ivory, not sure about Chitose) if you scroll down *this page*, but finding it was such a pain! Something as simple as size should be on every wig page. I'm sure the thinking is "Smart Doll wigs fit Smart Dolls" but customization using multiple brands is such a large part of the hobby I don't see the benefit to not including basic info.

When I was at the store Danny said 'they have 8 inch wigs' which implies they all do, not just Eiji.

The 7 inch wig I have for my MSD size bjd in progress is too small for him though, even though someone in the Facebook group told me 7 fits (if it does it looks a bit unnatural though) I don't have anything bigger but I imagine 9 is too big while '8-9' is still reasonably safe.

Eiji fits best in an 8-9 wig from what I've tried, which is the standard "SD" size. Smaller looks really bad from behind and squishes the head cap in which will cause damage, bigger just plain doesn't fit without being baggy. 8-9 are usually elastic to stretch fit the 9 inch heads, they fit snug on 8 best.

I wish this was Crimson's default look.

If I was good at well... faceups in general, i'd love to faceup my new Eiji boy I'll be getting in. but alas, I'm not the best at faceups
