It's not me, it's toraneko_doll. They do some real impressive work and have a distinct style. The way they do lines and draw the nostrils/etc on a lot of the boys make the dolls look like illustrations come to life.

Unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of dolls with permanent exaggerated facial expressions - I mean I like seeing photos of them, but I dont think I'd ever get one. However, if you're interested yourself, they often put custom heads on yahoo auctions (mostly DDs and obitsus, I think they sold some Eiji heads at an event once but i'm not 100% sure how they got hold of them since they're not sold separately yet).

Wow, she looks amazing. I don't think I would have even recognized her as Mirai--she looks so much more expressive and vibrant. And she definitely looks like a badass!

I love her eyebrows, too, and her eyes go perfectly with them.

If you don't mind my asking, what do you use to remove the original face-up? And how do you seal it afterwards? I really want to change some of the features of my Chitose, but I haven't found any tutorials online.

They are the same with Dollfie Dream faceup with using flatter to seal them, you can find tutorial in this forum : )

Thank you : )! I have to admit I don't have to much clothing with me that day so I just put her on with Miki's default outfit with a parabox shirt and goggle from Taobao : D

I finally had the guts to wipe my Eiji's default faceup.

 

My character is more of a "serious" type kind of guy and he rarely smiles. So I finally did his faceup to suit his character.

 

 

I'm so happy with him now.

This darn picture has done me in. Not because it is similar to what I want, but because it is simply Mirai's head on the Smart Doll body with a male faceup. For about three years now I've been thinking of a character using Mirai and having her wear boy clothes. I'm surprised that not once had I thought about Mirai's head on a boy body. I'm just floored at how well this combination will work for what I need. It finally makes sense why the girl version of the character was not working.

 

Does anyone else know of pics of Mirai's head on the Smart Doll boy body?
