My entry won Arle as well, I'm so surprised because I haven't won a Volks lottery for a long time I really wanted her when I entered but now i'm not sure if i'll be able to keep her, a lot has happened recently. Fingers crossed I can make things work as I have really wanted an MDD for a long time and Arle is just perfect. Congrats to those that won, i'm sad the rate seems so low this time like Takane >_

The prices on Y!J for Arle are very unfortunate... u.u;; I do wonder how many of the dolls went to people who actually wanted her and how many went to people only looking to make a profit. I'm not familiar with the game, but I hope that Arle has a huge fanbase in Japan and the majority of the dolls were won by people who are fans of the character and actually wanted her. That would make me feel a bit better about losing. xD;;

 

I do hope that Volks will realise that there is a market for MDDs and will release more of them in the future. Although, it's going to take a while for me to get over Arle and her cute face because she was perfect for a project that I've been planning. ;__; Oh well... I sent an inquiry to Volks asking if they'd know when they would restock MDD bodies in Semi-White skin again (on the International site). I'll have to see if I could make DDH-01 work for my project or will I have to wait and hope that someday they'll release another girl who's as cute as Arle.

I'm happy to report I did not win her, but my friend did~ So I guess luck was her side, and my side all at the same time. XD

 

On another note:

I swear whenever we get closer to a pre-order payment/delivery date the production of lottery dolls goes down because they have to focus their priorities on those dolls. Can only give the factory lines to the lottery molds for so long before they have to re-prioritize whatever pre-order event dolls are currently needing to be made for orders.

Look who just arrived!! My Arle is here and she is so stinking adorable!! I'm in the process of moving so I only had time to open the box and pop her out for a picture. I can't wait to dress her. I am so happy

Did anyone try for the cancelled quantity dolls? I thought that it would be a long shot but I couldn't really sleep so I woke up (before 5am local time) to try and see if I could get Arle into my cart... no such luck. x__x She was gone in, like, less than 40 seconds. Even though I knew that I most likely wouldn't stand a chance, I still feel pretty gutted. ;__; I guess I'll try to go back to sleep now...

I got mine off of YJA for about 90000yen. So I sold a few girls and outfits to pay for her. Then I found a custom head of hers for about 40000yen. I'd say 700-900 max for a fullset, 400-500 for her noggin - I've talked to a few indie sellers who wanted varying prices... One wanted as high as 1400$ which seemed a little extreme - if you know someone in Japan who can buy her off yja it might save you proxy fees that way and make her a little bit cheaper

Me again, I'm in the process of selling my current girls and making an offer at 1050 USD on ebay for a Arle full-set and I'm suddenly afraid of doing a mistake, so I'm looking at all the pictures I can find online and am a little anxious because of this one :

 

 

Is her upper lip protruding and her lower lip flat ?

 

edit : also, I'm slowly realizing that her eye shadow is blue and not black ? Does it bother you in any way ?

I havn,t actually seen many for sale, and the price was not that high.

But you know, exclusive models are always fluctuating in price, depending on demand and popularity.
