My heartbreaking story, what will you do if you were me.

Hi, something terrible just happened to me.

I have a saber alter v2, a few days ago, I decided to wash her clothes, the ones that cover her arms (2 pieces) https://www.google.com.sg/search?q=saber+alter+v2+dollfie&biw=1280&bih=667&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjh8IW5rqnLAhWTB44KHYJdDvMQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=pnEZTOEAyOeX2M%3A

After washing it, I put it out to dry, one day my mum thought it was trash (I don't know why she thought it was) and threw it away, when I went to get it, it was gone.

I of course was devastated because she was one of my fav girls, she promised to pay me back a new girl in return, but I'd rather get back what I lost.

What will you do if you were me? Is there any places where I could custom made the clothes that cover her arms? not the long sleeve ver but the one that is shown on the picture. thanks!

Well, as sad as it is, it's a minor damage. Making new "sleeves" is not that difficult.

Of course they won't be the ones you lost, But this is definetly something not as bad as having Saber fall and get her nose broken or having the washing machine shread her dress.

I'm pretty sure you can find someone who will make those for you in the service threads, or maybe it would be easier if you looked online and did it yourself ASAP so you won't be sad anymore.

I understand you are sad, but don't torture yourself over it, it will be solved soon enough!

Some people do outfit splits on here occasionally so it might be worth while to look into that. That is what I did with my KOS-MOS. I had two of the plastic pieces break on me, one being the joint part for her hip piece, and I was so devastated. So I broke down and managed to just buy a whole outfit set for her. Sure I have a bunch of extra that I don't particularly need. But now KOS-MOS and I are happy. Needless to say, she says in her bag from now on and I avoid excess handling since I consider her ridiculously fragile.

But as said previously, maybe talk to a couple seamstresses on here and see about having them sew up some new ones. Believe it or not, it's quite possible I bet. There's a lot of talented people on here.

Another option that I can recommend is contacting Volks directly. I've had success with talking with them on unusual things of that nature. Perhaps that have spares or could make a pair for you.

Check Mandarake as well if you're considering looking for a full outfit set. They have some of the most random stuff pop up at times.

Hopefully this helps you out. I know the pain of losing a vital part to a girl.

Look in the Members Custom Items Shops, for people who do clothing commissions.

It is a sad story, but folks here have given you some ideas to help with restoring the missing items. It also seems you've had some encouragement from your correspondence with Volks. It will get resolved favoribly for your Saber eventually I believe. It seems your mum is quite willing to do what she can to make things right, so the only thing that remains is for you to make sure she knows that you forgive her for what happened. Parents have feelings about these sorts of things that they've inadvertently done to cause their children distress. So they also need reassuring. We all have a bit of a kid in us somewhere. It's why as adults, we still enjoy our "toys".

I would honestly probably cry about it for a little while, then go on a forum and ask around to see if anyone has her outfit and would do a split with you, get someone to make replicas, or attempt to make them yourself.

Oh my God! I had to reread the first part of this post like 3 times to understand that it was just the arm warmers that got thrown away.

I am sorry for your loss! But chin up , at least it was only material and not your doll itself. Like others have said ,there are a ton of people who could whip up a new pair for you in no time or you can get a pair off secondary market possibly. Or even make them yourself.
