I just ordered a Smart Doll Mirai, and although I have collected resin BJDs for many years, this is my first BJD of this type, so I have a lot to learn! From what I've read so far, these dolls are rather different from their resin counterparts and I'm really looking forward to my new girl coming home and getting to know more about the DD type dolls! I have 27 resin BJDs, mostly Volks (11), Unoa (6), Dollstown, and some independent artist hybrids. I have a Volks and a LE Fairyland fullset coming in within the month. I have been collecting BJD's for about 7 years. Right now I have 3 Lusis, a Bully, a Unoss-Volks hybrid, a Zero and a Chibi. I had a Fairyland Chloe, she was a sleeping faceplate that I modded to open eye, but she moved away over a year ago. They are all in my flickr, including past Sists that I owned, but that moved on, most in the "rehomed" album. I am currently waiting on the new FL Lunnula fullset, can't wait to see the new FL Moe body, I loved the former Feeple60 body! My Smart Doll shipped today, so hopefully she'll be her Friday! I have a friend over in Nova Scotia that just made her first girl a custom girl and she looks like Gumi from volcaloid. She's so cute and she kinda brings her everywhere with her lol. Which doll do you have on pre-order? Snow Miku? If so my friends got her on the way too I understand having a particular taste or being picky. What are your plans for your future doll? Will you keep her as the character she comes as or make your own OC out of her ? My first DD is arriving soon and I couldn't be more excited.
