After a great deal of lurking I've decided to go legit and join. I have one DD (for now ), a Dollfie Dream Cheryl (Home Town Dolpa NAGOYA 2 Limited Edition), but I'm no doll newbie. My crew consists of everything from Funko Pops to BJDs (that's a Groove Pullip holding a DreamHighStudio Tan Ossia in my avatar). You can find me on DoA or DollyMarket under the same username.

I've owned her since 2008 (…I think… ). The oldest photos I could find were from that year. I would post them, but it looks like I don't have permission to post images yet.

 

Cheryl has her original face-up, in all its neon lipstick glory (hey Cheryl, 80's called, that color has been outlawed since WHAM! disbanded ) but I've changed out her eyes. She's currently sporting Volks Suiseiseki LE red/green, but only until the new pair of green acrylics arrive. I wanted to order Volks eyes, but their new website had a small catastrophe last weekend and it looks like they won't be back for quite some time.

Oh! She has the original faceup? Now I really can't wait to see! I think at 20 posts you are allowed to post pictures. I'm also interested as to how she looks with different eyes. I did see that they had an incident, a friend of mine was going to get me a birthday present and they weren't able to!

Hi Marilyn, it's not everyday story that I saw a DD from Volks' older line, you must had taken care of her pretty well.

It looks like I can post images now, so here's a snap of Cheryl from when she first arrived:

 

Eagle eyes may notice that her outfit is the 'wrong' color. I had an obsession with the outfit back then, so I own three: pink (Cheryl's), orange, and blue (my fave). The only one I never found on the secondary market while I had cash was black (Femi's).

 

I never liked Chery'ls default eyes, so they were immediately replaced with Enchanted eyes:

 

Urethane and putty made her a little unstable, so I've since returned to acrylics.

Thanks for showing the pictures!!! She's so cute! I think it's awesome you have the outfit in all of the colors - except black! Hahaha!

Thank you! This is the wig I wanted her to wear for the meet, but naturally couldn't find until I got home afterwards.
