JoltFiend Posted March 14, 2013 Recently, my time's been split between Ni No Kuni, Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, and Senran Kagura Shinovi. I really want to finish Ni No Kuni. I haven't finished an RPG that wasn't related to work in a very long time.

I haven't finished an RPG that wasn't related to work in a very long time. Ni No Kuni is a lot of fun, I'm not finished myself and it's likely to be some time before I tear myself away from Heart of the Swarm... Goddess I LOVE Blizzard games! finnleo Posted March 17, 2013 me mum dropped off a few boxes of old stuff she had cleaned up, and one of them was full of old floppies I had more or less forgotten about. decided to put my dos-legends machine plans into action, and resurrected one old clonker with premium bits from the dark ages... Too bad wasnt able to resurrect my old Gravis Ultrasound, but had to settle for a SB-PCI-128 for audio. Actually, with some CPR the old bugger caughed into life after some TLC to the connection pins .. superior audio aquired. Now been hammering One must fall 2097, and Indiana Jones & The fate of atlantis, X-Com: Terror from the deep in all glorious VGA graphics for example ... still need to see if I can find the 3Dfx oriented games in my stash of old CD's.. Also need to find my copy of TIE-Fighter somewhere, now that I have this thing put together.
SchroedingersCat Posted March 17, 2013 One must fall 2097 I have so many fond memories of that game. The Katana was my favourite. Now with +/- 15% more uncertainty!

JoltFiend Posted April 3, 2013 Currently playing Ni no Kuni and Senran Kagura Which Senran Kagura? I'm on and off with Shinovi, I picked up Burst, but I've barely played that one.
Minuette Posted April 4, 2013 I've been playing TERA Online a lot recently, it's a gorgeous game. There have been moments where I just had to stop and marvel at how beautiful the scenery is. I've been wanting to pick up Bioshock Infinite but my gaming fund is low, because it comes out of my regular paycheck.
DJStarstryker Posted April 4, 2013 Just started playing Fire Emblem Awakening tonight. It's my first FE game. Good game, but so far it's so much easier to die than any other strategy RPG I've played. Granted, I'm playing on hard, but a lot of my characters can only take 2-3 hits and they die (excepting Uber Tank Frederick). Makes me desperately want to equip better armor, but looks like this game doesn't have armor? Seems like you only get better HP and defense from leveling up. I've only just beaten chapter 2, so I'm not very far in. Are you ready to rock? ^_^
SchroedingersCat Posted April 8, 2013 I've been playing TERA Online a lot recently, it's a gorgeous game. There have been moments where I just had to stop and marvel at how beautiful the scenery is. I've been wanting to pick up Bioshock Infinite but my gaming fund is low, because it comes out of my regular paycheck. Tera is an amazing game. It's definitely one of the best MMOs on the market, with stunning visuals and a really fun play style. I love the implementation of effectively real time combat into a genre that is traditionally turn based (even if mmorpg combat seems real time, it's almost always calculated in rounds behind the scenes). Initially I thought that a port of a Korean game just wouldn't work here, but once I tried it it I very quickly discovered just how wrong I was. Now with +/- 15% more uncertainty! Soenatte Posted April 10, 2013 I'm currently playing Ecol Tactics online (because I thought I'd give it a try and it's a passable, rather tame turn-based, browser tactical rpg ; ) mainly. I'm also re-making my way through Devil Survivor 2 for the DS for the third time in attempts to get more endings. And before I forget xD I'm always, always, playing Recettear. DJStarstryker Posted April 11, 2013 Agreed, Recettear is awesome. I'm almost exclusively a console/handheld gamer, and I prefer physical copies of games over digital. But I actually broke down and bought Recettear during a Steam sale. Are you ready to rock? ^_^
