JoltFiend Posted December 8, 2011 I picked up a bunch more games last week because they were on sale. Now my backlog grows even more. I am currently playing Mario Kart 7. I like the fact that we have a small group of people who play during our evening break, one of which includes our department manager
Nightmare Tea Posted December 9, 2011 Count me in on the Skyrim train! I think i'm almost level 20, but I have not been playing for a while. I also really enjoy Touhou Project.
AerisAquata Posted December 9, 2011 I don't really play games like skyrim a lot, but I have been playing the first Project Diva game lately!
Averis Posted December 10, 2011 Been playing Skyrim as well. That's one big game (and so is the collector's edition box). I love open-world games. Also still been playing Test Drive Unlimited 2. The big one that will very soon suck away my life is Star Wars: The Old Republic. It's a new MMO, for those that may not know. A group of close friends and I are pretty excited to get lost in another MMO together. We stopped playing WoW as a group almost two years ago and many of us live far away. So it should be fun. May the Force be with you ! Hopefully I'll start playing today as I've done game preorder. Couldn't wait to start my twi'lek smuggler. Are you going to play on Republic or Empire side? (I was told by someone that Empire vs Republic statistics is about 3:1 almost on all test servers)
OtakuDepot Posted December 13, 2011 I also am very eagerly awaiting the new Star Wars The Old Republic MMO. I even kept my phone by my bed so I could check on emails through the night and first thing when I woke up. I'm also waiting on my early access confirmation! haha (nothing yet though ) I'm starting a Sith Inquisitor/Sorcerer as my main character - I'll be the one with all the purple lightning flying from my hands!!! Oh, can't wait for that email!!!! **James. Coffee Posted December 15, 2011 I love to play weird games. The weirder and more colorful, the better. But I mostly play adventure/action, plattformers and puzzle. Nothing beats playing a bit of good ol' Tetris every once in a while. I think I'm gonna return to darksiders and then Alice madness
Ravendruid Posted February 2, 2012 I'm a big fan of RPGs, both Japanese and western, though I haven't gotten many newer ones in quite a while. I love the Elder Scrolls series, haven't picked up Skyrim yet, though. There are so many I WANT to play, but only so much time/money. I love Final Fantasy IV, and recently started enjoying some of the Dragon Quest series. I still break out Neverwinter Nights every once in a while, as well. Also loved the Knights of the Old Republic games, the story in the first was better, but the mechanics of the second were nicer. I was disappointed to see that they are taking the series to MMO, since that likely means no more working on the single player franchise. One of my favorite JRPGs, which I rarely see mentioned, is Eternal Sonata, a beautiful story and lovely graphics. Also a fan of simulation games. The Sims has eaten up a lot of my life, I have all of the expansions and stuff packs for both 1 and 2, and most of the expansions for 3. Harvest Moon is awesome, especially the Rune Factory games, mixing simulation with RPG is definite win! Not too big on action oriented games. I like Jet Set Radio Future and the SSX series. Also anything Zelda, but I just don't have the reflexes for most others. I suck at most Mario games and could never get into any First person shooters. I adore the art style of the Tohou series, but can't keep up with the gameplay at all. I also have to admit to enjoying my share of eroge and visual novels (Curse you J-list for bringing over your easily accessible translations!) JoltFiend Posted February 3, 2012 I got Soul Calibur V on launch day, but I don't know how much longer I'll be playing it since I got Final Fantasy XIII-2 yesterday. I do want to play through XIII a little bit though since I heard there was some sort of freebie for having a XIII save when you play XIII-2. I'm also amused by Amazon charging only a dollar for shipping to get something on the day of release.
Ravendruid Posted February 3, 2012 I've wanted to get back to the Final Fantasy series, but can never remember which of the Xs are MMO and which are single player. I really wish they'd re-release some of the later games, like VII on, for either the WII, 360, or modern PCs. I'm glad the early games are more available, now, though. I invested quite a bit of time in XI but XIV was such a disappointment. I'll give the beta for 2.0 a try, but it's going to take a lot to get me to play XIV on a regular basis. kymaera Posted February 3, 2012 Last year, I started WoW again and have been playing it about a year now. Prior to that, I had played Lord of the Rings Online for a few years after my first several year stint on WoW. Before that was PS2 console games like the Disgaea series, the Final Fantasy series and more.
ayacchidere Posted February 5, 2012 I usually play rhythm games. The games I can never get bored of are rhythm games on PSP with characters I knew and love, like Hatsune Miku -Project Diva-. But I love RPGs too. And anything involving customizing your own characters.
Ravendruid Posted February 5, 2012 I have been really tempted a few times to buy a PSP just for Project Diva. Maybe now that the Vita is out, the price will come down a lot more, soon. Also extremely tempted to find a good deal on an old PS2 for some of the classic JRPGs. Daddy of: Yuriko, Sohi, Miku and SK's many kids
Deinbeck Posted February 25, 2012 I have been really tempted a few times to buy a PSP just for Project Diva. Maybe now that the Vita is out, the price will come down a lot more, soon. Also extremely tempted to find a good deal on an old PS2 for some of the classic JRPGs. Those Project Diva games are totally worth it. If you get the digital version from the japanese playstation store it should work with vita too I'd imagine. I have a strong feeling that the next dreamy theater will have a vita high-def component too. Here's hoping!
Galvatim Posted February 28, 2012 I picked up Final Fantasy XIII-2 the other day. It's pretty good. I'm enjoying it so far, I like it more than XIII. With XIII, I just got bored with the combat and layout of the game. Overall, I think XIII-2 is decent, and the time-traveling story is fun. The quick time events need to die, though. Halcyon Posted February 28, 2012 I've been lightly playing Skyrim and DOTA 2; waiting for Diablo 3 to come out. Unfortunately for me, I probably wouldn't have time for D3 once it's released. -sign- DD 娘 - Dollfie Dream® Daughters {1} : DDS [ユ-ピィ] - Euphie
JoltFiend Posted February 29, 2012 I got a PS Vita on launch day and five games (Army Corps of Hell, Hot Shots Golf, Touch My Katamari, Lumines, and Super Star Dust) and have been juggling my time between all five. Not to mention trying *not* to play while I'm sitting at my desk at work.

I am so old school~ But I am trying to grind my way through this so I can start 2. -rage- Card system was the worse idea ever T^T http://juu-yuki.com Dolly Shop: http://www.lizanna.com
AerisAquata Posted February 29, 2012 I'm playing Persona 3 as well! I'm also playing Fate/Extra. I got a 3DS recently with money I got for graduation~ My mom let me get Ocarina of Time 3D, so I'm going to start playing it too. And I play Princess Maker 2 when I'm bored. It's an old school game that you need a DOS emulator to run. But it's super fun!
di-chan123 Posted February 29, 2012 Everytime I go over to my boyfriend's house, we've been playing Soul Caliber 5 for the PS3. I'm kinda bad at it, but I'm still learning the combos instead of button mashing. I've also been playing Batman: Arkham City (which is awesome!) for the PS3 and Phantom Brave: We meet again on the Wii.
