what kind of games do ya'll play?

Project Diva X and Project Diva Future Tone are the only two Miku games on PS4, so that has to indeed be what you have. If you have the US download version of FT it's not called DX though as that title just refers to the Japan-only physical release that came out later. Same game though with two or three more songs added that you can also get as an extra DLC bit.

Yeah, you ran into the nasty aspect of X just without knowing none of the previous games were like that.

Since you played the PSP games, X does have one thing going for it which is that the song list is all new, outside the medleys. The PS3's Project Diva F and F2nd do include remakes of a lot of songs from the PSP games.

Maybe someone else has suggestions for RPGs, because we are pretty much looking for opposite things in those. As you mentioned Tales Of games though, I will point out that Vesperia is getting a PS4 release sometime next year.

I've been in sort of a slump so I haven't really been playing many games lately.

When I'm in the mood, I'll turn on my PS4 to play Project Diva FT or to replay some parts of NieR:Automata. I guess I'm a little boring.

As of recently I've just been in mobile game gachahell with Dragalia Lost.

So if anyone has any recommendations I'll listen. I love JRPGs, but I hate combat systems that require timing, and having to craft and evolve things, or games with micromanaging inventory to play.

The only recentish JRPG available on the PS4 I'd recommend would be Super Robot Wars V. The caveat is that your enjoyment of that title is going to hinge strongly on your attachment to Space Battleship Yamato and Martian Successor Nadesico as well as whether you like Cross Ange. Are you into Tactical JRPGs?

Anything else I'd recommend is several years old and the first ones are also TJRPGs. I felt Tears to Tiara II was exceptional in both gameplay and story. You better be ready for a story if you try it because it adapts a hybrid JTRPG and visual novel style. Some cutscenes last for two hours. It's on the PS3.

I played Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart all the way through on the PSTV. The comedy hijinks style story is not as dialed up to 11 and the dial broken off as in the other Neptunia franchise games. The story is still basic and semi-nonsensical and immediately forgettable. But the gameplay is decent, and the units and battles are pretty fun. As with all the Nep franchise games, there's a lot of grinding, so your enjoyment might hinge on your tolerance for having all your units stand around together and spam meaningless abilities in order to earn game points.

You could just wait a couple of months until Trails of Cold Steel gets its remaster on the PS4 if you missed the PS3 version. It's supposed to be super awesome good.

I was playing Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force for a while. I was enjoying it, but the comedy hijinks Nep-style story exceeded my tolerance and I gave up on it. I guess I also have to admit that I was a bit tired of the battle system. But if you liked Hyperdimension Neptunia V, then it's a very similar game.

Another option would be to pick up the Sega Genesis Collection for the PS4 if you haven't already. It has Phantasy Star 2, 3, and 4 along with Shining Force 1 and 2. Four out of those five are great games, and the one that isn' great is at least classic early 90s style console RPG cheese. If you haven't played any of them, give them a shot.

There's always Final Fantasy VII. I snagged the PS4 version on sale and have played a tiny bit of it again. I might try to focus on it for a while.

Or maybe skip the JRPG genre and give something like Space Hulk a try.

At the moment I'm playing heavily modded Skyrim with Legacy of the Dragonborn as the central mod I focus the game play around. I've been replaying this game through at least once a year since it was released, and it just doesn't get old.

The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? Heroin is illegal, Dollfie Dreams probably should be.

“Empty wallets, full hearts.” That’s probably an apt description for the effects of DD addiction

For pretty much my entire life, I've been a lover of RPGs, though lately I don't have as much time to keep up with games. I have nearly all the classics for SNES and PS1, a pretty good collection for PS2, then it kinda tapers off. I love Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy 4 & 6, Valkyrie Profile, Fire Emblem, etc.

I've been playing World of Warcraft for roughly 10 years, on and off, though lately more off.

Other than that, I always fall prey to the latest Animal Crossing game and have been playing the mobile version called Pocket Camp while anxiously waiting for the Switch version to come out.

My husband and I also love old games and play together pretty frequently when possible. Lately we played through Donkey Kong Country and we're taking turns with Zelda: Link to the Past on SNES. He's getting a SNES mini for Christmas from me and I'm really looking forward to playing these on our big TV with HDMI instead of a dinky old CRT.

I don't know much about the various SRW games but I wanted to link this new long trailer that Bamco has put up for Super Robot Wars T which is getting an Asian English release as other recent games have:

I love video games, but I can't play most as the panning makes me sick. It is great they are so realistic, but that same quality also is a downfall for me

The games I play mostly are sims 4 on the computer, I also love the Nancy Drew game on the computer as well and have played all but the last 3 that have come out. I have them all, just haven't started on them yet.

I love DS games and Animal Crossing: New Leaf is one of my very favorites. I used to play AC:WW, as well as the Game Cube version. I never played the Wii version as again, the panning is too much for me. Even the Game Cube version I could only play a bit at a time. The DS versions are perfect for me though. I did play Pocket Camp but got frustrated with it and stopped playing it.

I also like playing Tomodachi Life on the DS and daily log into that to get the donations and any new items I haven't gotten yet. My goal is to complete the catalog. When I have time I do sit and try to visit each person who lives there. I think it is a cute game.

Pokemon is a game I came to late, I started when my friend loaned me Omega Ruby to see how I liked it and then I went out and bought Pokemon Sun, and will eventually buy Moon as well.

The other games I like to play are things like Matchington Mansion, and Gardenscapes etc. That is when they work right.

I also like Township but you eventually get to a point in the game where you are stalled and either you spend real money, or things take ages and I lose interest in them.

Wow wall of text lol

I've been in boardgame mode lately. Recently, I've just been wanting thematic light dice tossing styles of games, what in boardgamer parlance are referred to as Ameritrash games.

Dungeon! is getting played a lot recently along with Mission Command: Air. Yes, they're kiddie games, but I like them.

I recently picked up Space Marine Adventures: Labyrinth of the Necrons as well as Blitz Bowl. I've assembled the figures for each, but have only played Space Marine Adventures so far.

Over the weekend I did some assembly on Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress which I acquired over a month ago. No telling when I'll get around to playing that.

I finally got to play Ghostbusters: The Board Game by Cryptozoic. That should probably be hitting the table a lot in the next few weeks.

One of these days I should do some pictures of my girls playing one of the games.

Still playing Fate/Grand Order. After getting Saber Arturia Pendragon earlier this week in the guaranteed 5 star Servant summoning, I just scored Ishtar! I got Berserker Vlad, and a couple of the classic Servants, Medea and Cu Chulainn, too.

I hope they'll rerun Nero & Lily events so you can build your Saber-face army!

and ddaaaaayum, Ishtar?? I'm jealous!! Used up over a dozen tickets and didn't get her (yet Gil-caster came home instead. I wish for my tsundere goddess, not that jerk calling me mongrel every other minute)

Which Cu do you have? there's main series Lancer, Prototype Lancer and the hella salty Berseker variant

It'd be great to get Nero and Lily! I'm guessing I'll get Jeanne at the end of the First Singularity: Orleans? I got Caster Cu from the Fuyuki prologue.

I spent too much to get Ishtar. I have both classic and Proto Cu. I scored 2 cards of each in my attempts to get Ishtar. I've got most of the F/SN original Servants, actually. Archer Emiya was one of my first Servants. I have a decently leveled Medusa, too, although Saber and Archer have been my main Servants so far.

sadly, Jeanne isn't a given after clearing a singularity. I rolled mine from a banner some time ago....

Orleans will give you Kiyohime, who has a great NP if u can lvl her up right

I do also have Emiya archer (he's NP is lvl 2, weird roll luck there), but have been using Robin Hood waaaaaay too much recently (cleared his Interlude, my grumpy son finally has his 3rd skill)

329270494 is my friend code if u wanna add me. I can change my supports around if u need help clearing up certain quests

my Saber-face army is ridiculous: Nero, OG Saber, Saber Lily, Jeanne, Jeanne Alter Santa Lily (recent xmas event), Santa Alter (xmas event, and they reran it this year, she's finally final ascension!)

I played Fire Emblem: Awakening on the 3DS to completion. I have all the North American Fire Emblem games released previously to that title on various consoles, but I never played much of the others.

With my recent influx of free time, I've still continued to slug it away in FFXIV, as usual ...

on top of that I got the dishonored series and Prey for the PS4 in a sale.. of which I've only managed to play the first of the dishonored trilogy that just seems like a Bioshock/SystemShock 2 attempt... but seems interesting enough.

On top of those I got Taiko No Tatsujin during the holiday sale, and while I like rythm games to a degree I was overwhelmed by the complexity of it ... then again its a arcade game with a novelty controller, which you can get in some parts of the world, and that inspired me,

to make a copy of a Hori Diva Future tone controller for the PS4 ...

32110516837_57b711c7fe.jpg

Its ugly, but it works and has been silly fun for the effort (And Price, since the original Hori one would have been 12k yen plus shipping and customs for me, this was a third of that all in)... I will try to make a better one, if I get around to getting proper micro-switch buttons -- though annoyingly this works well enough after dialing in the delays in the games.

as a result I got better scores in Taiko no tatsujin, but more importantly... revisiting Future Tone Im now able to actually attempt Extreme difficulties, and not immediately wash out...its like Dance dance revolution for your fingers.

I ended up purchasing a Nintendo Switch with my tax return so right now I'm playing Shantae and Smash Ultimate...

Originally I bought the system for Octopath Traveller but I don't think I have the mental power to read through dialogue right now...

I also purchased Puyo Puyo Tetris again for the Nth time. :|
