There's always this if you're a rhythm game fan.

Of course, as a Taiko no Tatsujin fan, I'm biased. It's one of the Japan only releases I want.

Also another 3DS rhythm game that'll probably always be Japan only is that Hatsune Miku Project Mirai game. It's like the PSP Project Diva games, except in this one, Miku and the rest look like Nendroids.

I have a couple of the Taiko games for the PSP and the DS and the first Project Diva game for the PSP. I pre-ordered the one for the Vita, too. XD

I'm playing Pokemon Platinum. I restarted it yesterday. See, I realized I'd only gotten maybe 5 hours in when I originally bought it back when it first came out. It's been years since I've touched a Pokemon game and I missed it. I'm half tempted to pick up Black/White to play when I finish with this but we'll see.

Also, almost finished with Fallout 3. I beat the main game and all sidequests. Just gotta finish out Broken Steel. The game was alright, but I definitely don't think I'll ever play a Bethesda game again. I either want a good story or a fun battle system or both in my RPGs.

awww.. i'm sorry you didn't enjoy F3. The main quest gets a bit too streamlined, but its the side-quests that really make it worth while (in some cases being evil vs being good really made a difference)

Even though I'm working for game companies I rarely play any games nowadays, but that's the fault of the way games have developed.

I feel like the player is treated as an idiot that needs everything told in the game (Jump now, do this and that), back then you had to find everything out on your own.

Also this horrible DLC route a lot of games go down now...pay a heavy amount for a game just for having to pay more for things that should have been included into the game from the beginning.

However, last game I played was Journey for the PS3.

First time in YEARS that a game has touched me and even made me cry because it was so wonderful.

It's so simple but a lovely gaming experience, I can really recommend it

I can vouch for Journey being really awesome. I've only played through it twice, but it's so good. You start to feel a connection not only with the character you're controlling, but with anyone else who's joined your game since it's both of you now helping each other get to the end.

It's totally worth the $15.

I think the problem is also that Fallout 3 eats too much time. I have been playing this one game for many hours trying to complete it through once. I don't think I'd be able to stand playing it again 2 more times to see how things are different from being a different sort of character. I think it would've been awesome to have a game that lasts so long back when I was younger, but when you work 40 hours a week, have a lot of hobbies, and a large gaming backlog, you don't tend to play a game more than once unless you really, really like it.

Also this horrible DLC route a lot of games go down now...pay a heavy amount for a game just for having to pay more for things that should have been included into the game from the beginning.

That's why most games I no longer buy at the brand new retail price anymore. I wait for it to drop in price or for a collection that comes with the DLC to come out. Game companies can play this try to milk more money out of games if they want to, but I'll vote with my wallet and wait until later then.

The only games I buy right when they come out now are either games I really want and so don't want to wait, or DS/3DS games (because it's Nintendo and Nintendo games almost never get price drops anyway....).

RPGs with character creation, games like White Knight Chronicles, Skyrim, and Dragon's Dogma. But I found myself eating up one First Person Shooter, Battlefield 3. I have never played an FPS game this long before and it's still going strong.

And I love knifing people....

I think the most annoying thing about Pokemon is how they use HMs to prevent you from going past certain areas in the story at certain times. It inevitably makes you have to create an HM slave Pokemon or two that uses up slots in your party.

I recently bought and beat FFXIII2

I was never into the FF series before FFXIII came out, but I played that and LOVED IT and then finally got XIII2 when I moved to Michigan and had nothing better to do the week before I started work XD

That's really the only games I've done recently.

I go through waves of gaming, honestly.

I was really into devil may cry for a bit, I tried to play heavenly sword but suck at it (I can't get past the archery that's seriously 5 minutes into the game),

Little Big Planet was a huge love of mine back when all of my friends played it constantly. Now that none of my friends are ever online, it's not so fun anymore, though :/

OtakuDepot

About a week ago I started playing Day Z and have become totally addicted. If your not familiar with it, it's a Zombie apocalypse survival game that's online multiplayer, and the other players are more dangerous than the Zombies.

It's a tough game and it has "perma-death". You can only create one character at a time and when you get killed you lose everything and have to start over. Oddly enough, that's what makes it so good. You are absolutely scared to death when you see another player or start getting chased by Zombies.

The game is a Mod to the game Arma 2 but you also need Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead (expansion). You can use the free download of Arma 2 from their website if you wish and only need to buy Operation Arrowhead which is only $20 on Steam.

There are tons of great videos on YouTube that show it off:

The mod is still in Alpha so it has some "issues" but it's tons of fun!

Still playing Pokemon Platinum. Got 4 badges.

Also got my copy of Final Fantasy Theatrhythm today. This game has some odd character designs, but if you can get past that, the game is a lot of fun. However, it has an extreme niche. Like, I think it's probably best played if 1) you have played most of the FF games (for the nostalgia factor it brings), 2) you're a fan of FF music (for obvious reasons), and 3) you like music games. Because if you're not all 3 of those, I don't think you'll get nearly as much out of it. I, however, fall under all 3 in spades so... I love it.

I played "Limbo" yesterday (finally, d'oh), and I really loved it.

Even though it's so simple it's on the same very gruesome and scaring. Can highly recommend it :3

Still playing Theatrhythm but stopped temporarily. There's only 1 3DS in the house and I don't want to hog it.

I'm up to 6 badges in Pokemon Platinum but taking a temporary break because I'm walking towards Snowpoint City and the hail irritates me.

Instead, I am continuing my Pokemon kick by having started playing Pokemon Conquest. Fun game, but since I've yet to play Black/White, the new Pokemon from those games keep throwing me off. I like how Oichi is a good healer, but I hate how the game keeps making me use her for the main kingdom battles. I mean, she has Jigglypuff, a Pokemon I unreasonably hate just because it's pink.

I've been playing a lot of TheatRhythm: Final Fantasy since its release. I also picked up a bunch of games from the Steam Sale, but I haven't really played too many of those yet. I still have games from sales past that I haven't even installed yet.

You should pick up Recettear if you haven't.

I am a PS3 girl all the way and I am super picky about games. But once I like one, it is hard for me to put it down. I will play it over and over again (don't ask how many times I have played Xenosaga3).

I usually like the JRPG style, but only like certain battle systems. I like character creation. I like co-op play and do not play shooters.

I have played a loved Civilization Revolution and Burnout Paradise (my first car game and my first platinum trophy).

Right now I am totally addicted to White Knight Chronicles II (IE). Over 1600 hours logged so far and that is just with my main avatar (Hinagiku). Recently got my platinum! If anyone plays, hit me up! Let's quest!

I have my first JPN import coming soon. Not sure how I will navigate it until I learn more of the language, but I cannot resist the iDOLM@STER.

Bought Trine and Trine 2 during the Steam summer sales. Both gorgeous games graphically and love the platform action and puzzle solving aspects of the game.

well, looks like Steam is rolling out yet another sale (Quakecon weekend sale) and they clearly know how to get me to open the wallet. Bethesda games for less than 10 bucks? Yawp, they're onto me

Time to dive into the Capital Wastelands (Fallout 3) and not come out.. for a while...

Bethesda game run on my PC? Not in this lifetime

*kicks some puppies, goes back to DS gaming*
