Is $200 a fair price for a new DD head w/faceup + eyes?

It looks professionally done.

Professorially done with eyes i would say yes. if there were images and more info (like who has done the face-up) it could be a "cheap" price or overpriced BUT i would say it probably is a good price.

It's probably about average, I guess. You can get heads under 10,000 yen on YJA from time to time, but most go for $150+. If it is a big name studio/artist, many hundreds are seen often. Commissioning people is usually $50-100, so include head and shipping costs and you're looking in the $200 realm, too.

Yeah, $200 would seem pretty average. I'm currently assembling my first DD, and I got her head off Yahoo Auctions for about $60+$20 shipping, and her eyes for $18+$20 shipping, and I'm getting her faceup done by an artist in Australia for $60, but that will be about $80 including shipping back and forth, so all together the total price of my head+faceup+eyes is about $200. Of course without all those shipping costs it would be like $60 cheaper, but if you are getting it done by a well-known brand plus it comes with eyes and all, $200 is reasonable in my opinion. ^w^
