So does anyone know when these outfits will be sold online?

 

I think at the after event. May 25 or 28 come to mind.

One thing I am noticing here is they seem to be having a special event with dolls that have a hand holding pose: http://www.volks.co.jp/dolpa35/dcoord/

 

I wonder if this means there will be a new hand you can get for two DD to share at some point. Based on a bing translation this is something that originated from Dolpa 30, and is premiering at Dolpa 35 in a special doll lottery event.

 

If they do release them as an option hand at some point they will probably be impossible to get.

Yeah, I remember that event from a few years ago. There was a special DD hand piece, which was 2 hands clasped together, meant for 2 DDs. I think I've seen some of the SD versions turn up on Mandarake occasionally. It's cool that Volks is doing the hand holding event again.

Maybe they had to develop the new increased range of motion wrist joints before they could get hand holding to work well.

I bet the new wrist joint would work great with the "good friend" holding hands! (At least, it seems like Volks calls them good friend hands.) Are these getting a full release? The DD/MDD ones would be cute.

At least as of what we know now they aren't getting a regular release. This special release of hands is sold with D'Coord model DDs and MDDs via a lottery at the Dolpa event hall. Seems like you have to win the right to buy one of the dolls in order to get the hands along with her. Since it's one of the Dolpa-only special events being advertised for Dolls Party attendees, they don't mention anything about a regular release at this time.

 

Volks seems to be happiest about offering these hands in semi-white for the first time, since all the dolls shown are in SWS. The original DP30 DD holding hands were normal skin I think.

I already have to manhandle my girls as it is to change their hands... I can't imagine having to manhandle two girls to get them to hold hands, even if I take the wrist pegs off.

I had recently bought a school girl outfit for my Miku, and then I see this. It's so much cuter and zomg the wig and the tie and the headphones.

 

I'm going to try for it but not get my hopes up too much. I hope Volks USA will have a lottery or something for it later.

Haven't heard of any other winners which is odd so could be that they only sent out a few emails??? Mine arrived quite late at 8.30pm Japan time so might not have had time to send them all out. I'd wait until tomorrow to see.

Really?!? Miku's Ribbon Girl outfit sells out in 45 seconds after opening! Sigh.

I made the choice to buy an alisa head and eyes earlier in the month instead of the ribon girl set.

 

But i was curious to see if i could get it into my cart, you know, irony and murphy's law etc. I saw the button and clicked it. There was 15-20 seconds between "preservation to shopping cart " and "item sold out"

 

So im glad i chose Alisa

I believe its less than 45 second. Only manage to get the button and now iam still patheticly clicking on it
