Hello! I'm Daisy, and I've been stalking this forum for a few days and just decided to join today!

 

I don't have a DD yet, but I'm saving up to eventually buy one, well either DD or a Smart Doll...

 

Well, that's all I have to say. I look forward to hanging out here with everyone!

Welcome! I hope you're able to get your DD or SmD soon! I have one of each myself and they're both a ton of fun and pretty sturdy despite not weighing much of anything.

I've been really wanting DD Miku since that was the doll that introduced me to Dollfie, and eventually Smart Dolls. But Miku is way too expensive for me to be thinking about getting anytime soon, so I've been planning on eventually getting one of the standard model DDs and customizing it a bit. I've also had my eye on SmD Chitose. She's just so cute!

DD Miku is so cute ;-; I got into dollfies right after her Snow Miku preorder ended She's too perfect! So here's hoping they maybe do another preorder for her in the future, or that secondhand prices aren't too bad!

 

However, customizing DDs is a delightful thing to do, so if you go that route, awesome! I collect resin bjds as well and customizing them is my absolute favorite thing to do!

 

Chitose was the first SmartDoll I really fell in love with enough to buy. Easily my favorite SmartDoll at this point

Customizing looks a lot of fun, you get to make your dolls into your own characters and all the customs on here look super gorgeous! I already have ideas for several custom dolls that I'm looking forward to eventually making in the future!

 

And Chitose is my favorite too! She just has a super cute face and her hair is beautiful! I kind of wish her hair was a little longer in the back, but I suppose if I get her, I can always get a different wig... But she's still super pretty with her default wig!

I like the final product, but if he released THAT version of the wig for sale, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I have a different wig on her now that I like, but I still like the shoulder length variation best Maybe others want that wig though so Choo will release it later? He listens to his customers it seems.

Yeah, it seems like he is very good at listening to his customers, but I think right now he's focused more on releasing the dolls he's currently working on, and their essentials versions before he focuses on wigs. So it might take a while...

 

But I hope he releases a longer wig for Chitose eventually! And other eye colors too! I bet Chitose would look adorable in purple or red eyes, especially with her silver hair!

Only time will tell, but I really hope we can get more wigs and eyes from him. It would be amazing!

Now I'm broke, but I really love my custom DD and she's beautiful so it's okay ^^ Perhaps I'll get a Miku end of this year or next year (if prices don't spike up too much!) or wait for that vocaloid Rin DD that Volks announced to come out someday...

Yeahhh I'm a bit disappointed that they announced it so sudden. I didn't expect it at all, and there's no way I'm going to save up enough money anytime soon. But I'm glad that you were able to get one! Congrats and have fun with her >w< Take photos!
