sinclair Posted May 17, 2016 To help reduce staining, I've read washing is helpful, but I'd like to know what others here are doing. Do you wash your clothing? And if so how? I've got a mesh bag like I've read online that some put the clothing in and throw it in the washer. Is that better then washing by hand? Would I use soap if doing it by hand? I'll assume that you want to keep colors separate (Reds, blues, and blacks away from lights away from whites) so that you don't get bleeding. Should I hang dray, or lay flat to dry, or throw in the dryer? And what about ironing them? And are there some outfits, like Miku's default (The boots and arm covers.), that shouldn't be washed? Anna-neko Posted May 17, 2016 I've washed my girl's clothes (to get flower/dandelion stains out) just hand wash in sink, with Tide stain-pen pretreat & soap. Lay flat to dry on towel. If it looks really wrinkly afterwards, carefully iron on lower medium setting, with piece of cloth between item & iron
baldylox Posted May 17, 2016 Any clothing I get that I think might stain my girls, I get and put it into one of those mesh delicates bags and wash them right along with all my other laundry. Usually I do the machine setting to regular ( not strong or heavy wash ) and wash them 3-5 times. After washing, I'll lay them out flat on the kitchen tbale and let them air dry that way. So far I've only had to rewash a few items after having them lightly stain my girls so for the most part, my washing regimen has worked very well with no ill effects to the clothing at all. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
