Smart doll Harmony Guy/Eiji (info/image thread)

I will update the title when he gets his own name but wanted to start this for him now since his first image is out.

 

Meet our new African American Smart Doll guy. Now to design faceup.

I really like the idea of his facial expression being a cross between Eiji and Crimson's! And those gold eyes are really piercing. I hope he gets a different wig, if not just to make him more distinct from Crimson.

 

i just wish people would stop saying 'african american' as though its interchangeable with 'black'...not all black people are american! ...unless it's referring to the actual character himself, who might be american.

I've often thought the same thing.

I am so eager for the dark skintoned Eiji... I seriously think he would make a awesome dark elf. his skintone seems to have a pearly purple look to it, and that fits well with dark elf looks fairly well I'd think. all he needs is some lovely long ears!

His eyes are incredible. I hope SmD sells them separately at some point. I'd very much like to have them for my Eiji (who's still at some undisclosed location between NYC and my city ).

yeah I concur. I thought it was a US-pseudo-political-correctness thing/relic, so I was surprised to hear it from a Brit...

 

Eh, maybe the character is American, though. Which would be interesting--maybe he is a foreign exchange student?

Wild Cocoa guy spotted again. still no info on him though

Danny had "spot the hints" on his facebook and I spotted the Cocoa boy in the back hope for thoughts that want him he will be out soon.

 

Isn't he just one of the prototypes that's been around for a while?

Ohmygosh! Don't really know how to properly post a picture but.... if anyone follows Danny on Twitter, or is part of the FB smartdoll group, the new coco guy has been posted there! It is a photo from some one who visited the smart doll store not an official Danny picture. He is the new male sculpt, not the original eiji one. He had silver hair and blue eyes, and faceup looked between the milk and tea boy face ups. He's very handsome and will be my only buy for the year! I asked Danny via Twitter and he said the coco boy will be out this year. Fingers crossed for an April release with the other two skin tones.....

This is the newer head but DANG! he does look lovely. Even my partner went wow and he is not one to like male dolls.

 

I like this sculpt a lot! But I'm still more into the milky version.

So it was true, i saw a few pictures on Instagram, of this head on milk and tea colors. But thought they were custom made.

 

So seriously thinking about getting him.
