boringcat Posted May 27, 2016 Hello everyone! I joined a few days ago but wanted to wait for my first Dollfie Dream to arrive home before I posted an introduction, and she’s finally here! I’m Daylen and I’m from Australia, I’ve been collecting balljointed dolls for the last few years but lately I’ve become much more attracted to the aesthetics of Dollfie Dreams and decided to make the switch! I still have resin dolls but I might end up with more or only vinyls. Right now I only have my first girl at home, she’s a DDH-06 head on a DDS body, I’ve named her Umeko for the time being but she might end up with a different name. I also have more girls on the way, hopefully they’ll get here soon, I’m not patient at all. That’s all from me for now, so thanks for reading and hope to see you all around! Eustia Posted May 27, 2016 Howdy and welcome. It's rare to see Australians around here so I'll give an extra greeting in acknowledgement! The 06 is a great sculpt; my favourite of the defaults. The DDS is also a nice sized body, but what bust is she? It makes a large difference to clothing. If you have more on the way it is obvious you have dived right in to vinyl, I guess coming from other BJDs it isn't as difficult to get stuck in to it. I hope you enjoy all of your girls. The 06 is one of my favourite sculpts, even more so now that I've seen it in person, the smile is what I fell for! I believe the bust is M, but I can always ask the person I got her from! Luckily I have a dress that fits her perfectly! I think coming from BJDs makes it a little easier but it's still a very new experience for me! Hopefully I can make those posts easily!
