Lyssa goes outdoors

It's been super hot here lately and work has had me worn out so it's been a while since any of my girls had been outside for photos. But yesterday was a nice day and Lyssa had asked if she could go out and see the flowers.

 

How could I say no?

Nothing really, this is just a different type that grows tall instead of across the ground.

Yes they are. I'm not sure of the variety but I really like the delicate flowers they have.

I've got several of them tall lantanas in my back yard. All of them wild, and I think mostly pink. Great to see you take some time with one of your girls.

Ha ha, thanks! I'm a landscaper and since Lyssa likes flowers, she reads a lot about them and asks me what we have. She's an outdoorsy girl and really loves doing photos. I wish I had more time to do outdoor pics but since it's now summer here in the South, the heat prevents me from being out for too long.

Oh nice! I transplanted these from my dads place, he had a bunch out by the hay barn. Nice to know others have and enjoy them too! And thank you very much about the pics! I really wish I had more time to do stories with them like I used to but my job wears me out and my GF gets a lot of my spare time now. But I do pics whenever I can and I hope I can do more soon!

Thanks so much! It's been stupid hot here this week too, today it was 96 degrees but the humidity made the heat index feel like it was over 115! It's hard to work in heat like this but we make sure to take lots of breaks and drink a ton of water.

My houseplants are all cactus plants, and my DD don't like them very much..... They do flower, but you can't exactly cuddle with them.

Ha ha! I really like cacti and succulents and I wish I had more of them. I have one huge one outside but when it blooms, the flower smells like rotten meat. It looks really cool tho.

They're nice, but hard to re-pot.
