Peach Pai Help & Daiki Doll Heads

Hello!

 

I recently purchased several items from Japan, including two heads that are similar to DD heads but plastic rather than vinyl. Both are marked Daiki 2004. I can't find a whole lot of information on them and was wondering if anyone here knows anything?

 

Also I got three silicone busts, and I'm wondering how to tell if they are peach pai or something else. If it is allowed I will be able to post pictures sometime within the next couple of days of the busts, the heads as well if necessary.

 

I don't know a whole lot about any of these things, so any help would be much appreciated! I will probably be selling the busts at least, so I'd like to know for sure what they are. Are there any other types of "squishy" silicone busts made to fit 1:3 scale dolls or DD?

I can't help you with the heads but if you can provide photos of the silicone busts once you get them, I'd be glad to help figure out if they are Peach Pai or another brand/type. We happen to call *all* silicone busts Peach Pai but that name is the actual "brand" that their maker Raji named them. Since these are about the nicest ones around, most people who are familiar with them or own them just lump all others under the same name.

 

There are other brands like the ones on Taobao so I'm interested to see if these might be those. The TB ones have been hit or miss with quality so if you can figure out what you have, you'll know what prices they'll fetch.

 

Post here with pics once you get them and we'll figure it out. I may be interested in buying as well if they look good.

Sorry for the delay in reply! It ended up being a super busy weekend, and for whatever reason I didn't get an email of a response to my post. Here are some pictures of the various busts. I can add more or send more if you're interested through messages.

 

 

They could all use a little clean up, as they were sent to me wrapped in newspaper but they are for the most part free of discoloration. I don't know if anything is official besides maybe the larger one, as two of the three have a lot of mold lines.

Ahh, there they are! I was wondering what happened with the pics.

 

All of those look to be knock off types except for the last one. The main way you can tell is with how thin the silicone is around the neck holes and around the bottom opening of the bust that goes over the lower torso. Real Peach Pai are the same thickness all the way around, they don't thin out like the ones in these photos do. All the Wersaze ones I've seen do have some seams on them but they've been pretty consistent overall with silicone thickness.

 

And speaking of seams and such, that is a HUGE amount of flashing on these! I've seen some seam lines before but these have crazy amounts on them..... I'd say that's another giveaway of knock offs. Peach Pai don't come like that at all and I don't think I've seen any Wersaze ones like that either.

 

As for the last one that seems to be a Medium + size, it *might* be a Wersaze but it's definitely not a Peach Pai as it doesn't have any inserts on the inside of the bust where the breasts are. All Peach Pai have hollow breasts that you insert these little "cutlets" of silicone into to fill the breast area up.

 

So what's the plan for these? If you want to sell any of them, I'd be interested in the larger one. Let me know!

Thanks for the info! I had a feeling these probably weren't the best quality given that the molding wasn't perfect.

 

I would definitely be interested in selling them, I wouldn't even begin to know what to ask for them though. I will send you a message and you can offer me whatever you think would be fair.

 

I have many bigger busted DD already and am hoping to "downsize" a little in that department. I think 4/7 having the largest Volks busts possible is probably enough without going for more at this point in time.
