Hello!

I have been an admirer of DD for years now. I find that I prefer the anime and big eye aesthetic on dolls for myself more than the others. I collect pullips as well. I have one resin doll, but I find her sad expression difficult to bond with.

After years of admiration I was finally able to get my own DD. I purchased Hatsune Miku because I really love her character so much. She arrived last week and is just gorgeous. I also have a pre-order for Snow Miku that should finish up in September.

 

Miku is my first 60cm doll, and when I opened the box I was so surprised at how tall she was! I've seen and held 60cm dolls before, but I always forget how tall they are. I love how light she is compared to resin dolls too.

 

My name is Ava and I currently reside in Illinois. In the next few months I might be moving to Indianapolis and then after that to Minnesota where I am from. I love to sew clothes albeit for humans, so I am a novice to sewing doll clothes. I hope to make new friends here and learn about sewing tiny clothes.

I can totally agree with how surprising their size can be at first, but I'm sure you've quickly gotten over it and having fun.

Congrats on your Miku too! I've preordered my own Snow Miku as well. Can't wait for Sept to roll around.
