First DD Shizuka ❤ Completed

I've always had this name in my head for quite a long time now. Shizuka means peaceful, calm and quiet. Shizuka has this very likeable gentle and calm personality to her! Shizuka is my first DD, as I've planned. I've always wanted a Dollfie Dream Moe. I first discover her in 2012 from one of Helpmebjd's youtube video. Being the first, she's very precious to me. She made me so happy. ;~;!!

August 2nd

So today I have finally received Shizuka's head from my colleague. The face up is lovely. It really is what I want her to look like. I am veeerry satisfied! She's lovely before but now she's even more lovely! So today I've completed the essentials for my Dollfie Dream, like finally!

 

June 25th

I NEVER KNEW my colleague from a department downstair is actually a BJD collector and that she also own quite a number of DD! AND SHE'S ALSO A FACE UP ARTIST!. Discovered her on 21st of June. That's crazy! This is all just too sudden for me and is too good to be true, certainly! I've checked her previous works and I thought they're just fabulous! So I decided where exactly I want my Shizuka to be sent to for a custom face up. I immediately sign her up in the commission list, ON THE SAME DAY! I've had quite specific requirements of how I want Shizuka to look like. I hope everything will be okay.

 

June 16th

It was the evening of June 16th of 2016 that I've finally received my first Dollfie Dream. She is a Moe 2nd ver. I bought the head with a DDII body. She came in a crumpled box (Postal service here is a maniac I swear!). But everything remains in place in their bubble wraps, it was a relief for me, I thank the seller for her careful packaging!

Thank you K-2! Yeah totally, there's this weird feeling about touching something you've never seen in person before. The feel and the smell of vinyl. These are all new to me. It's very exciting.

I know right haha, I flipped for a bit when I first saw the box. I quickly open it, just to find that she's okay. Gladly, or I swear I wouldn't forgove the postal service in this whole nation!

---- 25/6/2016 Update ----

So there's been a little change in the early plan. >_<; I might end up not be able to buy all the stuff on Nine9Style for Shizuka because I've recently found something I think I'd like more on Shizuka. There's this wig from Dollmore I've always treasure in my bookmark list! I have completely forgotten about it until recently that I decided to clean the junk in my bookmark list. The wig is EXACTLY the color I wanted for Shizuka, and to add an extra point, it's a straight hair. I've had troubles searching for Shizuka's hair, I choose the wig from Nine9Style because I wanted to get all the essentials at the same place so I could save for the shipping. Not much stuff quite suite my preference in Dollmore, which is a problem x-x;. Still looking for a way to solve this.

Thank you so much I really appreciate it and definitely glad my Shizuka made you change your mind about Moe, at least for a bit. Yeah for a starter like me that's pretty darn too good to be true. Almost 70% of the essentials I bought from her. The set, a face mask, a wig cap, and a pair of shoes shoes.

 

Ditto! You're absolutely correct about mori girl. My Shizuka is heavily influenced CLAMP's Kobato. She's definitely gonna have more mori girl stuff soon.
