baldylox Posted June 22, 2016 Yup! On this day way back in 2010 was when I purchased my first ever Dollfie Dream.... my dearest Manami. She has always been my number one girl and she's a spitfire every day. I love her to bits and she's such a part of me now I can't see ever being without her. She's sexy, she's funny, she's protective of her family and above all else she's been my gateway to making some excellent friends within this hobby. Without her I wouldn't have been able to meet some truly awesome people. So for that, I thank everyone that I've talked with, bought from, sold to and generally bugged/bothered/driven crazy over the past 6 years. So instead of the regular old retrospect where I dig up super old pics and talk about them, I'm just going to post a few photos of her that I really love and enjoy looking at. Part of me is like 'ONLY 6 YEARS?' because of your giant horde of tiny women, and part of me is like 'WOW 6 YEARS' because that's actually a pretty long time!! I didn't get my first doll until 2011 or 2012, and even that feels like a long time ago to me now that i think about it. So, 6 years is something to celebrate i think! Congrats on that. Love that pic of her with the sake, I feel it really captures her personality. When I first started researching DDs your photo stories with her really stood out to me as a testament to how much fun dolls could be, so I can always thank her (and you) for that. i haven't even known her for a year yet, but it definitely feels longer. As soon as I saw Lenny's fierce laser eyes , Squiggy and the red Angel Street box Manami arrived in, I immediately remembered seeing the post. Cool to see she's kept her unique look despite one (or two?) "spa visitis". You're welcome! I'm not entirely sure what it is that makes her so unique It may be the combination of the DDH-01 and the minimalistic, almost beginner-styled yet well done, face-up.
