Volks News 69 - DDH10 , heart hands and more!

In Volks News 69 they have revealed a new DD head 'for fans of MDD', DDH10! I cant wait to see more pics of this and I'm so glad they've made a new head that goes best with MDD, DDH01 is cute and all but we need more variety. Especially with how much most people need to mod DDH01 to get the look they want.

This is great news for me, who wants to make an MDD pretty soon! Although I do like the squishyness of DDH01 more even still..

 

Also, heart hands. Adorable. These will be the big (deka) hands.

 

The heart hands are Doll Point exclusives, not sure about DDH10 but most likely as I think 8 and 9 were.

While the heart hands are cute and it's nice to see another head getting introduced, all else pales when you flip thru the book and see THESE:

Personally I'm most excited for the Candy Pop dresses:

I'm going to be getting Kid Delf Corni for my birthday this year and this is the EXACT aesthetic I've been looking for! Hope I can manage to snag the MSD one, although it'll be nice to get the bigger one too and just keep it aside for Kagamine Rin so they can match and be cute together.

Ha ha, sorry about derailing your main focus there. I just got caught up in the cuteness of the outfits in the head and hand photos. After seeing those, I went digging thru the book pics to see if these outfits were available or not. I just had to share once I saw the pics.

HA! I was thinking the EXACT same thing! Great minds think alike! I don't know how I can make it happen but I seriously want all 3 of those outfits and the 2 red ones. I guess I'm going to have to call in some serious DD favors from peeps.

That one stood out to me too, the colors on it are very cool looking. And you can't go wrong with all those bows!

I have been complaining about the lack of heart hands forever!!! I'm so excited to finally see these!

The MDD head is a treat too! Duh Volks finally!!!

I knew I wanted an MDD eventually, but I hadn't planned on a gorgeous new head! I wonder if both painted versions of the head are going to be standard or if one is going to be a limited order, like the Magical Ruby 06.

 

I'm in love with the cheongsam dresses and the wedding gowns! And the little MDD bear hoodie set is adorable. I'm in so much trouble this time around I'll also have to pick up some of those hands while I'm at it.

I was flipping through, seeing some cute outfits, but not anything worth sitting through the click war for.

Oh my gosh I'm so happy!! I was actually wondering the other day if someone had made some heart hands or if I should try making some with clay just for photos, but now I don't have to! Yay!

 

The new MDD head is SO CUTE! And the candy pop dress! Wow! More stuff to add to my wish list!

So many good things this time around! I love the new MDD head; really hope they might offer her as apart of their D'Coord in the future! The heart hands are also precious; I'll definitely be grabbing a pair or two when I visit Volks this winter.

 

I wonder...with the heart hands...does any else wonder if they'll be able to interlock with each other (so girls can maybe hold hands together)? The heart hands on one of my resin dolls is able to do this...so now I'm curious!

Heads are interchangeable between MDD/DDS/DD, so yes, it'll fit. It might look a little odd, depending on the proportions of the face, but that's personal preference.

I'm with Poofie on the Crystal Coffin thing. I'm guessing it's designed so that when you're buried, you can bring your girls with you? It's clear so when grave robbers hit you up, they'll see your ladies first and maybe shy away from stealing from you.... LOL

As for the acrylic case...it really does look like a coffin lying down. Can it not be stood upright and used as a display case? ...Might be a little cramped though.

I need that DDH-10 head for one of my characters oh my goodness. I hope it looks okay on a DDS body, though I guess MDD would be okay too.

That suggests it may not be part of D'Coord, since the point of that is to use Dollpoint Exclusives, but I guess we'll see what happens.

Ooooh DDH10 nice Looks like it will come in WS. Let's hope this means they will finally release MDD WS parts

ahhh the 10 is so cute! If they keep this up I will end up with an MDD army.

The DDH 10 is really adorable, and I'm starting to wonder if it'd work for the DDS size character I want to make. Probably will wait for owner photos though, to see how it'll work on the body and also different angles.

 

The glass case reminds me a lot of one of those old-fashioned specimen cases. (in fact, it really reminded me of a Gakupo Vocaloid song called Specimen Girl, which you should not look up because it is very very very morbid and you should especially not look up if you have any interest whatsoever in purchasing the glass case >_<) I don't know if that's a ... thing in general, but who knows, it might be. It's certainly an interesting aesthetic and doesn't have to be nearly as morbid as in the Gakupo song.
