Asuka's a Little Upset

Thank you. And really, I didn't expect to find her naked. No box set, but maybe we'll put out an anthology story volume.

Aw, Sakura's so sweet; she just loves everybody, doesn't she?

 

Also dug the conversation with Asuka, especially the shot where she gets possessive of the bear. I had to chuckle at that one, it's so very her. Agatha and I would like to suggest naming the bear Wojtek (apparently pronounced along the lines of Voytek), which was a soldier bear in WWII.

I don't think I would fall for scripple's convincing techniques. OK, I would. Especially since he had a teddy bear.

 

I think it is great that Asuka is reaching out to Steffi. Their outfits are so cute. Asuka is lovely in that white dress.

 

Saber's outfit so stylish and cute now that she is out of the refrigerator. haha Those look like tasty noodles.

 

I hope Sakura is not too upset about being told to let Asuka only talk to Steffi. I am sure she wants to get in there and solve the problem right away. But that might make Asuka way too uncomfortable.

The Dressing gown that Asuka is wearing is just great and reminds me of the ones you see in the shops.

 

The expression on her face of "No you can't have the teddy bear back" was priceless and reminds me of what some children.

 

As for Sabre...... Where does she put that food. One moment she's got a donut in her hand and in a matter of minutes she's not only found ASuka, but she's back holding a bowl of Noodles.

 

A great short story btw.

Sakura is the mother hen of the household. Always wanting to make sure everyone is safe and happy. I agree she's very sweet that way and I'm very lucky to have her here.

 

I'm glad you enjoyed my conversation with Asuka. She sure changed her attitude towards the bear pretty quick when I went to take it back. I'd say she liked it more than she was letting on. Now I just have to hope Rin doesn't get jealous that Asuka got a gift.

I hope Asuka and Steffi become friends going forward. It would be so good for both of them. I was encouraged to see the meek and calm Asuka approaching Steffi, there's some hope she'll actually make a connection in that frame of mind.

 

I'm glad you liked the outfits. And don't worry, Sakura wasn't too mad at me for letting Steffi go first. Sakura understands my logic. Besides, she needed to calm down after the Saber incident.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of it like that, but you're right. Big fluffy and white, it is classic spa/shop/hotel dressing gown.

Thanks. That was my favorite picture in this set as well. I thought she pulled it off quite well.

Saber claims she needs lots of food to reduce the strain on Rin in maintaining her material form in this world. And she says specifically in this case that searching the whole house at high speed required a lot of energy so she had to stop and get a snack before reporting the news. There must be some truth to the energy thing as she eats A LOT but never seems to gain weight and doesn't get full very often. But about the specific case of this search I think she was just following her priority list.

 

1) Prevent death in the household

2) Eat sweet treats

3) Proceed back to number 2 as quickly as possible

 

Once Asuka was determined to be safe, getting another snack was more important than reporting the news. It's nice to see that she seams to have expanded her list to included slightly healthier snacks though.

I think it still has plenty of magic. I would fall for it even if I knew its real purpose.

Thanks again on the story. Feedback from people is always appreciated, it lets me know people are enjoying the stories and that I should keep them coming. But a lot of people are just naturally quiet and that's ok too. Plus I know my brand of stories aren't for everyone, or any stories for that matter. People have different reasons for being in the DD hobby.

Thanks. Saber is often the comic relief so I'm glad you find her amusing. She also just LOVES to eat. She's been this way ever since I started stocking a good selection of foods for the girls. She had a period where she was pretty hungry before that and I think it had an effect on her. So everyone with a Saber coming next year be sure to have food on hand before she arrives.

I think Asuka was very upset by Rin's trick for a couple reasons. One, no one tried to help her. Two she's had a traumatic experience with someone taking over her mind before so I think losing control again was very jarring, and three since her mother hung herself along with a doll that she believed was Asuka I think being led around by a noose brought back some bad memories, one's that were also dredged up the last time her mind got taken over. So kind of a perfect storm of bad experiences.

 

Or I could be reading too much into it and she's just so annoyed she can't stand being around the other girls anymore.

 

Either way I'm also glad see she actually reached out to Steffi a little bit. I hope it works out well for both of them.

I hope she can make a friend. I'm glad you were able to comfort her.

Awww, how can you not love Sakura!!! She's such a good girl. I'm not saying that because she was my first girl, I swear!

 

It was nice seeing Asuka being a bit shy and timid, I guess that comes from the 'dere' side of her personality. LOL I sure hope she and Steffi can hit it off, it would be good for her to have a friend. It worked wonders for Yukino when she was having her trouble fitting in.
