For regular sale they have original Miku (obviously, they always have more of her to go around) Saber Nero, Kos-Mos, Momo, and Akira 2nd version.

For their lottery event there are two dolls and two outfits. The dolls are Asuna, and Sasara white gothic version. The outfits are Miku's Mikuzukin set, and ribbon girl outfit.

They're selling some outfits as well. For sale there's Miku's senbonzakura outfit, siren set, and Saber Alter's swimsuit and gym set.

Present!

Miku, Aria, Celia, Melody, Aveline, Rin T, Ted, Chi, Yumi, Melanie, Rin K, Len, Ea, Alter, Illya, Rachel, Aelia, Matt, Jace, & E.N.O.

W.I.P.

Rose, Tara

Waiting

Hannah, Lucy, Sonya.

Neemos: Yuki & Mimi

Resins: Mizuumi & Aiko

Thank you so much for the super detailed reply! The lottery item is still so attractive, especially for the ribbon girl outfit. It's just so beautiful and can't be purchased anywhere

Is this only at the expo, or will it be online too? I really, really, really want Miku's Ribbon girl set.

Its just for the event. They have a few things on the USA site but not many and definitely not the ribbon set

Lame. They could bring one set for the expo, but not a whole crate of them to sell? Sigh.

Don't even bother it. They changed the rule, so each one can only have one entry. It means if you choose the entry for Asuna, then you can't get the Miku's outfit. Besides, there's about over 50 people to participate the lottery. Unless you are super lucky, otherwise, being stuck in the line for 2 hours to enter the AX and have 30 minutes' high blood pressure will only result in disappoint.

It's not Volks USAs fault. Volks Japan makes a very limited number of outfits and whatever they have left over usually gets sent to the US. Sometimes. I'm amazed they even had ONE of the Ribbon Girl sets to offer as a lottery prize, those things went like hotcakes when they were released.

So basically Volks didn't MAKE a whole crate of them to sell because overall, the Japanese market likes limited items. The more limited the item, the more people want one. It sucks for us because we're used to getting items here that aren't so limited. We're kind of spoiled like that.

But it's Volks business model that's to blame for us not getting as many cool things here, not Volks USA. They do what they can with what they're given so I'd try and cut them a little slack. I'm sure they'd love to have more to sell the US market but when your parent company only sends you a few things, you're kind of stuck.

My 'rant' wasn't at Volks USA, but Volks in general, mainly for not keeping the rest of the world in mind. I wish they'd plan for us instead of just handing out leftovers. It is what it is. All that matters is I've got my girls to remind me what's important, that I have them and that we can still be happy without the desirable outfits as long as we have each other.

I gotcha. I just figured I'd throw my two cents in on it. But I totally agree with you, their business model stumps and confounds me to no end. I always thought a business WANTED to make money, not limit how much they brought in. Yes, you have to make your customers happy and give them what they want but by focusing solely on one market and ignoring MANY others, you're going to eventually hang yourself and drive customers towards other sellers. Which, to me, looks exactly like what's happening with Danny Choo and his Smartdolls. I guarantee Volks is feeling losses from his business, regardless of if they want to acknowledge it or not.

THAT is precisely what I feel too! Great statement, I wholeheartedly agree with you on this.

While I do wish Volks would make more of some outfits, I'm not sure it might be possible for them. When buying fabric or supplies, they might be limited to a set amount (as in the fabric manufacturer only has a set amount or if it's custom, they will only will make so much). I don't know the ins and outs of how they run their business, but I think that might have something to do with it.

I know personally how frustrating it can be dealing with manufacturers who will make something one day and then suddenly quit without warning because they've run out of materials or can't make the thing anymore for various other reasons.

That said, I wish Volks would make more! More Ribbon Girls for everyone! (ughhh I want that outfit SO BAD ). Whoever wins these should feel really lucky!
