AlmySidaKay Posted November 7, 2011 Hiya folks! I'm 26 years old, live in Champaign, IL, and I looooove BJD's but I've just recently bitten the vinyl bullet and traded away a resin girl for my first Dollfie, a MDD, who I will be hopefully turning into a custom Hatsune Miku. I've recently had an influx of resin dolls as well! I have several Bobobie dolls now, Sprite, and Ju, as well as a lone Doll-Leaves Jax. I have 2 more on the way as well a blue Mei and a dark gray Rong! I'm really into MSD dolls, I just love their size and snugglyness. And on top of that I am also a meet-a-holic, I run the doll meets in central Illinois. And I'm also into some non doll things such as; board games with friends, watching anime, and playing video games. I love to share photos of my girls, so hopefully you will see more of me soon! Poofiemus Posted November 7, 2011 Hi and welcome! It seems there are quite a few resin lovers who get bitten by the vinyl bug just like you. I'm a Miku fan too, so I'm totally looking forward to seeing your Hatsune Miku custom come together! Which head mold did you pick for your bait? In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser. AlmySidaKay Posted November 7, 2011 Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't know what head to pick yet for her, I've been browsing to see if I could find a good head with a face up somewhere cheap. So far I have a few I'm looking at but haven't really made a final decision on any one yet. If anyone has a good suggestion feel free to let me know, or point me in the right direction. baldylox Posted November 7, 2011 Welcome aboard! It's too funny how we have lots of resin people coming over to the vinyl side now. I'm glad you've started off in DD's, the MDD is about as cute as you can get so I know your custom Miku will be cute! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop. AlmySidaKay Posted November 8, 2011 Thanks again for the warm welcomes, I actually saw a Miku DD and that snow Miku MDD and that's what got me thinking about doing it for myself, I had been thinking about wanting to dollify Miku but wasn't sure how because most dolls just looked too "real" and the Miku Pullip was totally not my thing!
