My little family of girls has grown this weekend, so time for a family photo.

 

 

Miku and Yaya welcome Yumi home.

Now that an event is over, Yaya was able to change into a new outfit.

Wow, so behind. My family has grown. Saber has come home. I am so glad I won her in the lottery. She is adorable, but don't tell anyone I said that. She just comes across as such a refined lady. Very fitting that she is the oldest sister of my group. And here is the group.

 

 

Here she is in her new outfit I bought just for her.

 

 

I am so happy Volks included the black hair bow, it goes so well with this outfit, and suits her just wonderfully.

That brown outfit looks so much better on a full DD body that DDS (so jealous). She looks absolutely wonderful like it was made for her!

I know, it does look like it was made for her. And her Santa Alter nylons match so much better than the floral socks it came with. Add the brown loafers from the recent February collection and she's an absolute doll (Har har, made a pun.). It was really hard to leave her home this morning when I went to work, I kinda want to take her everywhere now.

Yes, she is not cheap, most I found were near $1750. So when I found one sub $1500 I jumped and got her. So costly, but she is so worth it.

Miku isn't usually my favourite sculpt, but yours is precious! It must be the way you bring her to life. She has such a bubbly personality in your photos!

Thanks. I absolutely adore her and love spending time with her. These little girls do get a personality, and each one is different. I'm glad to hear that it shows.

After a couple weeks in the outfit, it was time for Saber to try something new on. Being she is a more sophisticated type then her sisters, I felt she needed a different style maid outfit from them (Yes, all my girls have, or will have, a maid outfit. It's one of the required 3, along with kimono and school girl.).

 

 

 

It's nice, but just doesn't seem to mesh yet in my head. Could be that the dress doesn't flow due to the fabric choice. Perhaps that will change with time, or if I dress them all up in their maid uniforms at once.

I had thought about that, but I picked this set because it didn't have one to make her stand out from her sisters. But you just may be onto something. Next question, should it be a full apron, or just a half? I'm thinking half so it doesn't cover the ribbon crisscrossing her bust.

I would think something small, just to accent the waist.

Oh, very nice. I'll have to look at finding or making one. That would go well with it and break up the front of the outfit nicely.

Thanks. I had kinda wanted one since I first saw one after getting in to the hobby, but didn't think it's fit anyone's personality. But Yaya's personality has really grown, and it suit her well. I was telling my wife the other night that Yaya is my Strong Bad.

Yes it can. I don't know what the time frame is for that kind of staining but jewelry can stain vinyl.

A: CLR is a commercial product based on a combination of glycolic (hydroxy-acetic), sulfamic and citric acids. Sulfamic acid is the reaction product of fuming sulfuric acid and urea. This mixture of acids is highly corrosive. It is made to clean glassware, tubs, toilets, stucco, bricks, porcelain, chrome, and other metals. This product will damage vinyl."

 

Treating green ear stains with Remove-Zit will yield good results.

Cool, thanks. Well, not really cool. Anywho, I might have to look at how to make the lock removable as Yaya has grown quite attached to the outfit. Normally I wouldn't worry, but this is the humid season for us, so we go from 0% to 40+ inside and 60+ outside. And Yaya doesn't need any new stains.

As you can see, once my girls found the cushions I bought, they got to use them. But now one standing up. I really like how well this outfit suits her.

 

 

Me: Okay Keiko, didn't you want to change.

Keiko: Yes, into something a bit cooler.

 

 

Me: Why are you hiding behind the cushion?

Keiko: I didn't know you were going to take photos. This is embarrassing.

Me: Come now, there's nothing to be embarrassed about, you are quite lovely.
