sinclair Posted April 11, 2017 Wow, so behind. My family has grown. Saber has come home. I am so glad I won her in the lottery. She is adorable, but don't tell anyone I said that. She just comes across as such a refined lady. Very fitting that she is the oldest sister of my group. And here is the group. Here she is in her new outfit I bought just for her. I am so happy Volks included the black hair bow, it goes so well with this outfit, and suits her just wonderfully.
SlyViolin Posted April 11, 2017 That brown outfit looks so much better on a full DD body that DDS (so jealous). She looks absolutely wonderful like it was made for her!
sinclair Posted April 11, 2017 I know, it does look like it was made for her. And her Santa Alter nylons match so much better than the floral socks it came with. Add the brown loafers from the recent February collection and she's an absolute doll (Har har, made a pun.). It was really hard to leave her home this morning when I went to work, I kinda want to take her everywhere now.
Meguchi Posted April 14, 2017 That picture of Yaya... Hnnnnngh... She's like my Holy Grail, been trying to find one for a decent price but all of em are well over 1,000 bucks =(. and also thank you for showing your girls =)
sinclair Posted April 16, 2017 That picture of Yaya... Hnnnnngh... She's like my Holy Grail, been trying to find one for a decent price but all of em are well over 1,000 bucks =(. and also thank you for showing your girls =) Yes, she is not cheap, most I found were near $1750. So when I found one sub $1500 I jumped and got her. So costly, but she is so worth it.
Yuna Posted April 22, 2017 Miku isn't usually my favourite sculpt, but yours is precious! It must be the way you bring her to life. She has such a bubbly personality in your photos! "You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are."
sinclair Posted April 22, 2017 Thanks. I absolutely adore her and love spending time with her. These little girls do get a personality, and each one is different. I'm glad to hear that it shows.
sinclair Posted May 3, 2017 After a couple weeks in the outfit, it was time for Saber to try something new on. Being she is a more sophisticated type then her sisters, I felt she needed a different style maid outfit from them (Yes, all my girls have, or will have, a maid outfit. It's one of the required 3, along with kimono and school girl.). It's nice, but just doesn't seem to mesh yet in my head. Could be that the dress doesn't flow due to the fabric choice. Perhaps that will change with time, or if I dress them all up in their maid uniforms at once.
K-2 Posted May 3, 2017 Apron! She needs a lacy apron!
sinclair Posted May 4, 2017 I had thought about that, but I picked this set because it didn't have one to make her stand out from her sisters. But you just may be onto something. Next question, should it be a full apron, or just a half? I'm thinking half so it doesn't cover the ribbon crisscrossing her bust.
K-2 Posted May 4, 2017 I would think something small, just to accent the waist. http://www.thecostumeland.com/40-womens-costumes/58-french-maid-and-nurse-costumes/55660-domesticated-delight-french-maid-costume.htm
sinclair Posted May 5, 2017 Oh, very nice. I'll have to look at finding or making one. That would go well with it and break up the front of the outfit nicely. Anywho, back on topic, more photos! This time it's Miku with her newest outfit.
sinclair Posted July 31, 2017 Wow, the whole summer has almost gone and I haven't done more photo shoots. Well Yaya got a new outfit and had to show off, so here are some of the photos from that. Enjoy. I think Yaya has found her new favorite outfit.
K-2 Posted July 31, 2017 I think Yaya has found her new favorite outfit. That's lucky. It might not stain her.
baldylox Posted August 1, 2017 She looks completely adorable in that! Congrats on getting it! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
sinclair Posted August 1, 2017 I think Yaya has found her new favorite outfit. That's lucky. It might not stain her. The funny thing is that's what was going through my head as I put it on her, although I did wonder if the lock could. She looks completely adorable in that! Congrats on getting it! Billy Thanks. I had kinda wanted one since I first saw one after getting in to the hobby, but didn't think it's fit anyone's personality. But Yaya's personality has really grown, and it suit her well. I was telling my wife the other night that Yaya is my Strong Bad.

sinclair Posted August 2, 2017 Yaya is going to be the end of me She can be yours! And the supply is only getting smaller and the price higher... But she'll never be my Yaya. There's only one of her, and she's mine!
K-2 Posted August 2, 2017 The funny thing is that's what was going through my head as I put it on her, although I did wonder if the lock could. Yes it can. I don't know what the time frame is for that kind of staining but jewelry can stain vinyl. https://www.google.com/search?q=barbie+green+ear&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjB7-rs87jVAhVm5oMKHR5cCYAQ_AUICygC&biw=1680&bih=902#imgrc=_ All those Barbies in those images had metal earrings. From Nicolas Hill's book on vinyl preservation: "Q: Will CLR remove green ear? A: CLR is a commercial product based on a combination of glycolic (hydroxy-acetic), sulfamic and citric acids. Sulfamic acid is the reaction product of fuming sulfuric acid and urea. This mixture of acids is highly corrosive. It is made to clean glassware, tubs, toilets, stucco, bricks, porcelain, chrome, and other metals. This product will damage vinyl." Treating green ear stains with Remove-Zit will yield good results. sinclair Posted August 3, 2017 Cool, thanks. Well, not really cool. Anywho, I might have to look at how to make the lock removable as Yaya has grown quite attached to the outfit. Normally I wouldn't worry, but this is the humid season for us, so we go from 0% to 40+ inside and 60+ outside. And Yaya doesn't need any new stains.
sinclair Posted August 7, 2017 Know what this thread needs, more Keiko. As you can see, once my girls found the cushions I bought, they got to use them. But now one standing up. I really like how well this outfit suits her. Me: Okay Keiko, didn't you want to change. Keiko: Yes, into something a bit cooler. Me: Why are you hiding behind the cushion? Keiko: I didn't know you were going to take photos. This is embarrassing. Me: Come now, there's nothing to be embarrassed about, you are quite lovely. Keiko: Okay. How's this. Me: Good start. Keiko: That was kind of fun. I guess I do enjoy having my beautiful self photographed. You must do it again Daddy. Me: With time, you'll have the opportunity to do it again. (Looks like I may have created a monster. Not that I need another one.)
baldylox Posted August 7, 2017 So cute! You gotta love when the shy ones come out of their shell, even if it's just a bit! She looks good in her swimsuit for sure! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
