A Body for Mariko

Recommended Posts

Ajahli

Hi everyone! I hope this is the right area to post this.

So, I recently acquired a DDS Mariko head and as I held her in the palm of my hand I realized that proportionately, her head seems a lot smaller than my other girls (I haven't measured her head or anything, she just seems...small!)

I traded her head with my Smart Doll's for a quick attempt to have her as a full doll for a few days, with her wig and uniform, but it still seemed strange.

My question is, what would be a good body for her? A DDS body? An MDD? A 48 or 50 obitsu? The only thing about going smaller is that I will lament her being unable to wear her Mariko sets, but if she looks good in a different size I can live with it. I'm kind of leaning towards a 50cm obitsu, so that she is more petite but not tiny.

Anyway, I was just curious to see what others could suggest or if any other Mariko owners could tell me what they think and maybe share pictures if they have any?

Thanks a bunch!!

I'm so glad to see another Mariko owner out there, she is a real cutie!

It never occurred to me that her head seemed smaller than other girls since she was my first full-sized doll. Honestly, I've never had a problem with her original DDS body and I think she's quite lovely in it.

Here's my Mariko Gallery~

Hope this helps!
