$3.00 clothes!

Right before Halloween, I discovered some clothing that just happened to be a close size to the DD's at my local Dollar General store. I'm sure some of you remember seeing Rei in her baseball outfit.

 

After I bought that one, I went back and found more that I thought might be cool. I mean, for three bucks, how can you go wrong?

 

Anyways, in case anyone has a Dollar General store near them, I decided to show how these clothes designed for teddy bears look on the DD and DDdy girls. I know these are NOT form fitting or well made. They were three bucks! But as far as cute goes and for some random fun, I thought they were neat.

Now for some close ups. Yukino and Ryomou are wearing tennis inspired outfits I think:

 

 

Yoko is wearing a tracksuit or workout suit, I'm not sure which:

 

 

Miyuki is in a basketball uniform and looks quite sporty:

 

 

I'm not sure if Mai is trying to be a biker chick or a gangster here. The red thing on her head is a bandana. And no, these jean shorts will NOT contain her booty!

 

 

Manami has on a softball outit I think and Mamimi has the only female looking clothing I could see.

 

 

And finally we have Rei in her baseball uniform:

 

 

As I said earlier, I know these dont fit the girls really well but they do give me some really good photo ops.... namely S.HITAPAI!!!!!

 

 

And Yoko wanted everyone to know that her outfit also has a hat....

 

 

 

So there we have it. Eight outfits for $24.00 Silly, maybe. Fun? Definitely!

Heh, thanks! I agree that the skirt is really cute on Mamimi. It's kind of a felt type material and really soft.

You expected less from MY girls? It's not so bad on the M-bust girls but the L-busts start to show a bit of it and then all hell breaks loose with the DDdy girls.

Ha ha! You're right, I don't think there's much in the way of coverage under normal workout conditions.

Thank you! I also think these are good for lounging. So far I haven't seen any stains either so that's even better. I keep my nicer clothing stored as well so I know what you mean. I can't have them in their special stuff all the time or else it wouldn't be special!

Thanks! If I could sew, I would try to make them a bit better fitting but as it is, I am not adept with sewing at all. I hope you find some stuff when you go look! Let us know if you find different outfits from what I did.

That was an amazing find you got.. $24 is maybe 1/2 of a normal DD outfit if you get lucky.

And oh yeah, a Volks outfit would be 50-80 bucks easy! Too bad Volks ones are better made.

I've also started noticing "Big Bratz" in addition to the Disney Princess line... it seems like larger dolls are getting popular!

Where do you see these at? I keep checking my local Wal Mart but never see anything DD sized. They're always clothing thats way small for them. I wish we still had a Toys R US around but my nearest one closed years ago.
