Poofiemus Posted November 10, 2011 Hey there! Has anyone here tried Angell-Studio 58cm (Youth) girl clothes on an M bust DDII? They have some cute stuff, and I'm really digging the design of the Phoenix Suit, but am wary of tossing down the cash if it won't fit my new girl. Thanks! DefectiveAngel Posted November 10, 2011 You are in luck. I just received my 2 outfits made by Angell-Studio and they fit the DD2 M bust perfectly. The only thing is with one of the outfits the socks took some work to get on, but they still worked out. I guess dolls by Angell-Studio have smaller feet than a DD. Other than that the actual outfit fits great. I will be posting pics of the outfits as soon as I make some free time. Also Angell-Studio 8/9 wigs fit great too on a DD. A little snug, but I like that so it won't go falling off. Here's the 2 outfits I purchased http://www.mintoncardinc.com/dolls/item_details.php?BJD=2310&name=A-S+Blooming+Rose+%28CL3110322Z%29&cat=58&DOLL=YES and http://www.mintoncardinc.com/dolls/item_details.php?BJD=2312&name=A-S+Retro+Chiffe+Dress+%28CL3110329Z%29&cat=58&DOLL=YES I hope this helps you out. The only thing I see you may have trouble with is the stockings that come with the outfit you want. But I think with some patience you should be able to get them on. Talolili Posted November 11, 2011 Be careful with AS clothing! I've ordered some outfits from them in the past and they weren't very well made and started to come apart instantly. I've also heard many others have had problems with them. It's too bad because they have some adorable looking outfits.
Innocentsake Posted November 11, 2011 Be careful with AS clothing! I've ordered some outfits from them in the past and they weren't very well made and started to come apart instantly. I've also heard many others have had problems with them. It's too bad because they have some adorable looking outfits. Does that go for their shoes as well? I was just looking at them and they look really nice, but I wouldn't want to buy a pair or more if the shoes are just going to fall apart too :/

I was just looking at them and they look really nice, but I wouldn't want to buy a pair or more if the shoes are just going to fall apart too :/ I will have to keep that in mind. Seems like the 2 outfits I bought are holding up okay so far. When I was dressing my girls with those outfits the quality seemed to be okay. Nothing ripped or tore and I seen no immediate or obvious problems with stitch work. I know the dress one was a pain to put on. I had to remove Sara's head to get it on her. It wasn't made very practical to get on a DD or really any doll honestly. It had no zipper or buttons, just ribbon toward the top on the back of the dress you loosened up and nothing else. So it would have been a tight squeeze to get on her if I hadn't of removed the head. Then like what I first said one pair of the outfits socks were a tight squeeze to get on. Other than that I don't have any other complaints so far on their clothing. As for their shoes Innocentsake I thought about getting some too, but their size worried me. I think they might be too small for a DD foot. It has for the size it fits 6.8cm foot and a DD I'm pretty sure is 7cm. Also going back to my problem with one pair of the socks, I'm really thinking that AS dolls have smaller feet compared to a DD. But I could be wrong and AS shoes might fit a DD just fine. As for the quality with the shoes I'm not sure at all. The pics make them look good, but it could be a different story when you get them. :/
Poofiemus Posted November 12, 2011 Huh. Interesting. Given how form-fitting the Phoenix Suit is, that might put a strain on it if it's not finished properly on the inside, especially since it's brocade. . .Well thanks for your input! I'll have to ponder using it as inspiration versus actually buying it. The deciding factor will probably be if I end up finding red-and-gold brocade in my local remnants bin. That would definitely be too small I'm sure, which is a shame because some of their shoes look stunning. On the other hand if their outfits aren't made to par I would think the same would go for the shoes. Thanks for giving me your input!
Talolili Posted November 12, 2011 I really have no idea about AS shoes since I've never owned a pair and I haven't really looked at them either. I'm just glad I could be of some help.
Innocentsake Posted November 13, 2011 Well even if you don't have a pair of AS shoes, it is good to hear the opinion of others Plus sometimes it is better to be overly cautious. I would hate to buy a pair of those shoes and have them not fit my first DD So thank you very much again!

Sorry to dig up an old thread but Poofie, did you end up buying the Phoenix suit? I am interested in it also and was wondering how it looks on a DDs. Poofiemus Posted May 4, 2012 No, I didn't get it--more because of money issues than anything else. (Slow economy + trying to enter a relatively slow industry = no fun, but anyway XD) In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.

Guess I will take a risk on it. =) Thanks for replying Poofie. http://juu-yuki.com Dolly Shop: http://www.lizanna.com
Amber Posted May 4, 2012 I have the Blooming Rose outfit and also some of their shoes, the ones that are boots but they are knitted. I guess knitted is the best word to use? Anyway, the boots are VERY fragile and will rip/tear easily. One of my boots has a very small rip in it so now I am extremely careful with them. I am just grateful I realized what was happening as I was taking it off, or else it would have been worse. Also, they are not easy to put on or take off. You have to bend the foot and gently push, pull, and tug. It's a grueling process. If I had known these things I probably would not have bought them, regardless of how cute they are. But I have them now, so I will use them. xD The Blooming Rose outfit fits my DDS Ms. Mariko very well, especially in her bust area. When I had it on DD Moe, it was very apparent it did not fit her properly. I have not tried it on DDdy Sasara yet, but I do not think that it will fit her very well since it is such a good fit on Mariko's L bust. But we'll see! I glued them back on and have had no further issue with them. I'm just curious - has anyone ordered directly from Angell-Studio? How long does their shipping take? I'm just looking at the pre-order times from Mint on Card and am impatient >__>" The last time I did a AS shoe pre-order with MoC it didn't show up until 4 months later. archangeli Posted October 25, 2012 I made an order on September 13th and got my order on October 1st. Thanks Nekopon and juu-yuki I actually ordered from them 8 days ago, and when I log in it still says that they are "stocking" my order, and it hasn't shipped, which is weird since all of my items were in stock. I think I'll send them a message and ask what's up Archangeli.net | Twitter: @MsArchangeli | YouTube: Archangeli
