Sigh, I guess the Volks USA orders must be batch 3 or 4. They already got items that came out after she started shipping, like the Miku 2020 outfits and Volks News 76, but they still haven't gotten Anastasia to ship out. I was hoping I could give her to my wife for Christmas.

 

Volks USA specified late December for shipping. The dolls are on a boat, and they probably didn't get shipped until the very end of the payment period for the USA store plus whatever lead time International needed.

I think these make her much more flattering looking than the Volks default does. Actually makes me like what I consider an odd lookin' head. XD

That is a stunning custom. She has a much softer more feminine look. She looks less like the anime character, but that's probably the point.

I just got an email from Volks USA saying they have made it State side and should be at their offices in the next week or two, then after inspection they'll ship her out!! If the stars align she could be home for Christmas.

I'm still waiting on mine to get shipped from the second order >.

Just got a tracking number form Volks USA for her and her outfit! The tracking number was created on the 7th, but USPS hasn't received her yet. But this shows Volks is working on it. My wife may get her girl for Christmas after all!

My Yayoi's tracking info also shows creation on the 7th, but her outfit shows as in the hands of USPS now. I think they are actually moving.

 

Edit: Actually Yayoi is too. Just needed to refresh my tracker app. They are on the way. He's hoping your wife has a Merry Christmas.

I'm shocked that I already got an email to pick her up at the store! Of course I had Mon and Tues off work and they sent the email Wed haha The plan is to pick her up on Friday after work.

I had a friend who just got his and her wrist pegs are too thick and they can't be turned and we couldn't even pull them out when we tried This happened with my Summer Festival Mariko, but not as bad since I was able to pull them out and sand em down.

Got my shipping confirmation a few days and she should be here by Friday

They are pretty tight, but I was able to pull them out. What I did notice is that they didn't completely remove the sprue from the end of the wrist peg. It looks like it was sanded down, but not completely. I may clean that up a bit. My Miku's extra hands didn't it removed at all so this might be something they are hit and miss on.

I have the same issue with the wrists, they are very tight! But I could remove them without any problem.

Wow, I really like this. That hair color goes well with her. I'm personally not a fan, but she's the one my wife picked, and there was no way I wasn't getting a doll my wife picked. Got to hook her so I can continue to adopt these precious little ones.

Also her wig came pretty clean but the style which i'm trying to duplicate with sample photo. I had to do this to control it for now - https://imgur.com/lMH8e5f

 

But anyhow she's very cute, i'm glad i decided to put in that preorder. Though I do have to give a remark on the wig. The fiber density is quite thin, if you don't layer the fibers correctly, it's pretty easy to see through to the wig cap / scalp.

She finally came yesterday. Better late than never. I opened the box while my wife was in the shower to make sure she was in there and to take the extra outfit out, and taped it back up and put it under the tree. So she knows it's here and what it is, but can't touch it until Monday.

Thanks all who replied Mine were slightly tight, but thankfully while I was at the store I used a pair of nippers to snip off the excess plastic at the ends of the peg. That made things a little better thankfully.

 

Mine has a shiny line between her nose and right eye, but it's not super distracting. In the end I'm so happy to have her. She's a beautiful girl and is officially #17 Love her default face-up, but I'm pretty sure I want to have her customized in the future.
