Monty Posted September 9, 2016 With spectacular timing, the Fu kuoka Doll Market Meet was the day after I got my Rin, so I took her along. I'd been meaning to investigate what the doll community was like here and they're all very nice people! It was just a small gathering but there was some nice stuff for sale and some really lovely photo spaces set up. Rin got to meet a very cute DDH10 MDD! I wish I had a good camera and not just an iphone, but luckily some people with good cameras took some pics for me! I really love this one of Rin showing off the cute hair clip and bracelet I got her! (the seller is the woman who owned the ddh10) And another I really love how beautiful and blue her eyes are here. And I'm another who knows what you mean about cute MDDS. And the Mini Sweets Dolls. It's a good thing that I have no idea how to get one, because I think I'd be in a lot of trouble if I had access to them... As far as I can tell every model of them is incredibly limited - they only seem to make a few of each (sometimes even only one) and the only places I've seen them get sold are in Dollce stores (there are currently only two of these, one in Akihabara and one in Fu kuoka), Azone stores during special events and at Wonfest they sometimes have limited character ones (at february they had one of Honoka from Love Live and Sakura Miku). I'm pretty sure they're just 11cm obitsus with one of the open eye obitsu heads but the fullsets are really adorable so I'm really tempted to get one if one I like enough pops up at one of the Dollce store events. If they really are Obitsu heads...that is so impressive. They don't look like any I recognize. That somehow makes them even more cool to me. The price probably would hit pretty hard...but I just like them so darn much! Lol. elianti Posted September 18, 2016 There's so much adorableness in these photos omg *___* I think my favorite shot of Rin is the 'This way!' one. The posing is just perfect; it feels so lively! If I'm not mistaken, some of those MDDs have Mafuyu heads! So cuteeee~ I only ever see that head on obi48/50s and DDS and I always think they're cute, but wow MDD size makes EVERYONE that much more adorable, huh. xD And the Mini Sweets Dolls really were 11cm obitsus with parabox heads? Sometimes parabox sells limited fullsets but I didn't know other companies did fullsets of 1/6 parabitsus as well! Perhaps those Mini Sweets Dolls use puchi-hime heads then? Parabox does sell hand painted heads on their Japanese site that are really nice, though the vast majority of it is sold out. ^^;;; Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The hairclip is adorable on Rin, by the way~ Those grumpy resin boys at the meet seems to be a syndrome; a friend brought the same doll on the right (Hewitt?) to our MDD meet and he spent the whole time brooding in the same way.
