DD3 Thighs on DDS Body?

Does anyone know if DD3 Thighs will work on a DDS body? I'm currently trying to figure out how this body/thigh combo was made (looks pretty seamless .I could also be completely wrong on the dd3 thigh/dds combo.)

 

Its from a clothing set from Taobao (Yosuga no sora outfit I believe.)

This got my kind of curious so I popped some DIII legs on my DDS Makoto Kikuchi. DIII legs on a DDS look more like that image than DDS legs on a DDS.

 

Here are a few observations.

 

The legs fit solidly on the pelvis pegs and she is stable when standing on them.

 

With out a skirt on her the legs look a bit too long.

 

Add a skirt and the leg effect looks better. The skirt conceals the length of the torso a bit so the slight increase in leg length looks more natural. The overall effect with the skirt makes her look taller and thinner.

 

With high heels on her feet the legs look too long period.

 

The fit at the hip isn't perfect, but the small gap I see on my DDS between the hip and thigh is hidden by her underwear.

 

I didn't try it, but I don't think DDS legs on a DIII torso would look very good.

 

The effect in that image probably looks better with you only seeing the thighs and not the entire leg.

Are you guys sure the girl in the original pic has a DDS torso though? She looks like a normal DD to me?

 

Anyway, I did this way back, with pics. I wouldn't recommend it permanently though, it seemed like it might eventually break the thigh pegs to me.

I don't know one way or the other if the torso in the OP was really DDS. If that's an M Bust then its a DIII torso, but it looks more like an L Bust and I don't have any DDS L busts to compare to.

 

I did notice that on a DDS the stock inner thighs don't come nearly as close together as they do with the DIII thighs. The DIII thighs come that close together on a DIII torso too, so in that respect the thigh parts seem to be the factor and not the torso.

I have no idea honestly, It was mostly a guess as I haven't seen too many thighs that looked pretty seamless(besides peach pai.) and I thought it might be a different combo than usual.

i dont think dddy thighs gonna work on ddIII torso... dddy and ddIII waist part are different... but the Shins are the same=)

Yeah, DDdy thighs probably won't fit correctly on DD lower body part... but you could mod a DD bust to fit DDdy if it's the upper body that you don't like.

I missed this thread before, but the photo in the first post is a DD2 or DD3 torso (I can tell DDS and DD torsos apart pretty easily). With the right panties, the leg/thigh connection can look seamless like that. I'm curious about her silicon arms though, I know there's silicon bust and torso/thigh parts, but I thought you had to get a whole silicon body for the arms or feet

To be honest I didn't even notice the arms/hands haha >_>. You could probably buy the arms on YJA or Taobao im guessing. Don't quote me on that though

I know this post is ancient now, but I have just recently tried this and yes, they're interchangeable. The feet are different (I don't know why) with more of the vinyl cut away on DDS, but both still work on either body and fit flush to the shins the same way.
