Soenatte Posted September 27, 2016 Ah, the woes of wigs... When you find the perfect color but not the right size... when the wig looks great in company pictures but not in hand... And moreover when a wig's quality ends up being far lesser than what you'd originally thought. I'm being honest when I'm saying that doll wigs have to be my greatest plight; and to top it all off, vinyl dolls stain much more easily than resin so what are we to do? All in all... which company have you found that makes "the perfect" wig for your girls? So far I've personally got to give it to Crobidoll, they've never let me down once in terms of styles and colors! silky08 Posted September 27, 2016 I'm sorry my english is bad. I bought the wigs 5 company. (1 japan and 4 korean company) Volks, Nine9, WigWing, Leeke World, Mariage. I bought wigs from doll free market and internet. 1. Volks Fitting is slightly big. They don't make heat resisting fiber, so durability is bad. Their wigs required handle carefully. Color... I think they are normal. 2. Nine9 Fitting is slightly tight. They are using heat resisting fiber. Their wigs are less thining. Color... I think something bad. 3. WigWing My favorite wig company. Fitting is good, using heat resisting fiber, good durability, good thining, not bad color, using skin colored net. But they have less color from internet. Kind of ivory, pink, brown, black. I bought red brown color from doll free market. So my doll's wig color is fixed red color. lol 4. Leeke World That wigs are amaging. Good style, good color... But size is small. It is hard to wearing wigs on my doll. And I bought ivory color, I have customized normal skin DDH-06(slightly red color skin), the wig and doll skin color does not match. T^T 5. Mariage Fitting is slightly big. I bought wigs from doll free market. I bought carrot colored middle bob cut, the curl direction is bad. (all fiber have same direction lol) So it goes storage directly. T^T
Cauldroness Posted September 27, 2016 I have to say, I have the opposite problem, there are too many lovely wigs out there and I want to buy them all! I have more wigs from Leeke than from any other company, but I will admit their quality has decreased over the years -- I still get many great wigs from them, but I've also noticed a higher rate of wonky cuts and not-quite-perfect styles. Still, when they get it right, they REALLY get it right! I'm also very happy with my wigs from Lullaby Poem, Licht, Kaleido, and Monique. Honestly, Crobi has been my biggest disappointment. Of all the wigs I've gotten from them, I ended up only keeping one and selling all the rest. I just found them too difficult to manage. The fiber was very stiff and I found it nigh-impossible to manage; I was always tucking a curl under an arm or pinning it beneath a leg to keep it from spazzing out all over the place. Maybe I'd be happier with their straight or softly crimped styles, but now that they don't even offer 8-9 anymore, why bother? Doll Photos & Doll Jewelry Sales: Follow me on Instagram! Nozomi02 Posted September 27, 2016 I have wigs from For My Doll, Leeke World, Volks, and Lullaby Poem. I've been happy with the quality on all of them, and I haven't had any problems with staining, even on the wigs with black skin caps. Lullaby Poem uses a stiffer fiber than the other companies, but I find they look very realistic in photos. They also run a little smaller than the others, getting those wigs on Saber's big head is a bit of a struggle. Nozomi02 Posted September 28, 2016 Some pictures in case they're helpful: Volks W-138 in Pink Brown: DSC00700 by Nozomi02, on Flickr It's a little loose, so I usually put a rubber band around a head cap, and that works like a charm. foo Posted September 29, 2016 Not mentioned so far is Little Monica, Wigs by bodolza, on Flickr I did a mini review on the forum. The wigs have an amazing amount of volume (by far the most of any I've tried) and very fine but strong fibres. The "black" colour is just beautiful, it has tones that show up with light. Some other photos, Yaya w/ Melody by bodolza, on Flickr That's Yaya in the Melody wig. The curly wig is really easy to tame if you let it get untidy like that, it doesn't turn into a permanent mess (for example, this photo was taken before the photo above it). This is Sakuya with the Luna wig, you can see how a lighter tone shines in sunlight, Fading Warmth by bodolza, on Flickr Another company is ForU, Rin uses one of their wigs which came with twin tail extensions, Hi Rin! by bodolza, on Flickr It also lights up nicely in sunlight, showing different tones. Unlike Little Monica or Crobi though, it's a high maintenance wig because the fibres are very soft and light, so it gets messy & frizzy easily. Also the fibre density isn't as high as Little Monica & Crobi, so you can see the wig cap easier if you style it a certain way (with my Little Monica wigs, I've never seen the wig cap). I made this thread when I was trying to find the right wig & eyes for Rin.
silky08 Posted October 1, 2016 Thank you for the information about Little Monica. There are many good companies in my country.

Soenatte Posted October 2, 2016 Ahh! Out of everything mentioned so far, I'll have to second/third that Little Monica was so unexpected foo!! I never considered ordering wigs from them and I'll definitelly have to consider them for a black wig I wish to purchase for one of my girls eventually. The color is so very lovely and I love how the fiber looks! Wayfarer Posted October 19, 2016 I definitely second crobi and I'l also recommend luts and ssoulshop for great wigs. FMD has great variety but the quality of the fibers just doesn't compare to these three shops. They're my absolute favorite go to shops.
