SylvanJade Posted October 18, 2016 Aww, how cute! I love how her eyes match her dress. She looks very shy! There's some good articles on how to best photograph your doll on here. They give some pretty good advice I think! Do you have any future photo shoots in mind? I can't wait to see more!

Thank you I got her as fullset so both eyes and outfit are defaults ^o^ She's indeed a quiet type Gotta check this out Indeed, I'm thinking about a photoshoot in the forest near my house
SylvanJade Posted October 21, 2016 Oh, you should really do some forest shots! I bet her eyes would just shine with a beautiful green background like that. Do you like your camera a lot? I only have my smartphone, and I've been thinking about getting something nicer. But there are so many options, it's a little overwhelming.
Winnie Posted October 23, 2016 I love my camera, it's really good, I know people who're more into Canon than Nikon, I never had a Canon myself so I dunno what's the best but for dolls pictures like I do, I think mine is all what you need ^^
foo Posted October 24, 2016 Ah, it's rare to see Youmu A photography tip: since you're using Nikon you should really try using Nikon Capture NX-D, which is free. It's a bit daunting at first but the results are just beautiful (just about everything in my photostream starts in Nikon Capture). I wrote up a tutorial on how to use it at MFC. Also, try playing with lighting — any lighting that you might have in your home, or just faint light from a window. If you keep doing that it will give you experience with ways light can make your photos look, giving you new ideas.

I'll definitely try it. As for the light, there was my window just behind but I guess it's not enough for Autumn. I'll get a better light and try with the software next time ! ^o^ Thank you again

foo Posted February 5, 2017 Very nice! The lighting is surprisingly soft and the colour scheme looks great (hair + clothes + background). I love that wig too. The lighting does seem a bit cold, but I guess it's winter daylight?

The lighting does seem a bit cold, but I guess it's winter daylight? Thanks ! I really appreciate your comment. And I agree about the lighting, I hope Spring will bring back the sun a bit more since I don't own any proper flash at the moment, he's my only ally lol.
