Help with custom DD of Mayumi Thyme From Shuffle.

I really want to make a Dollfie Dream Of Mayumi Thyme From Shuffle.

I know she would use DD SS or DD S (Mayumi is very flat)

I was thinking for a head maybe Honda Mio? Something a little tomboyish/tsun. Still very unsure about it.

I may commission a head if I can't find a match

Mayumi has one red eye and one blue eye so I probably gotta buy two sets of eyes.

No clue where to get a wig though. I'd most likely buy a really long grey wig and trim it.

I would get her clothes commissioned (Uniform and maybe her blue casual outfit)

 

I think Mayumi's whole fandom is me, due to one of my wallpapers of her showing up on her first page of google images. T_T (The one of her getting kissed)

LUTS Charcoal Gray wigs might be something to look at, and see if they have a design close to what you want.

Otherwise, Leekeworld and Licht tend to be the best options for wigs.

Some things to think about:

-height: how tall do you want her to be? DD is 57cm tall while DDS is about 54cm tall (so at 1/3 scale, a DD girl would be a 171cm or 5'7" girl while DDS would be a 162cm or 5'3" girl)

-one piece or two piece torso? Advantage of one piece is that it looks better in swimsuits/lingerie/nude while advantage of two piece is better poseability.

-eyes: you can also have animetic eyes custom made to matche Mayumi's official art. Ersa Flora is a well known custom eye maker, and I think KK Workshop also does them? And possibly other people as well.

-face mold: If you have a favorite picture of her, that might be the best thing to use as a reference for the ideal mold.
