Freyja looks way better up close and in owner pics than she did on Volks website, haha. She's definitely a cutie.

Actually, I have to say, based on what I was reading on the boards, I didn't think all that many people would enter the lottery for her, so I kind of had a strong feeling I was going to win her...so I already bought her outfits and wigs that have been sitting here for about a month, lol.

 

Still, I'm so happy she'll be coming home to me. I absolutely LOVE everything about this girl...except her outfit which I'll be selling as soon as she arrives.

Anyone splitting Alter? I maybe interested in the head, wig, and body at the right price.

Since they offered the outfit separate this time around, I'm not sure how many split possibilities there'll be. I got Saber for her sculpt, and that fact that she comes with a cute Santa outfit was a welcome bonus.

Oh, I read it on Volks USA site, but I was being ever hopeful she would come sooner. But I've figured out that those I've seen photos of in the wild are ones you could buy in person at the event in Japan. That or someone really really good at sewing.

Yeah I was impatiently hoping it would be sooner (by some impossible miracle). I did read about it when I entered the lotto though.

I wish they'd make a Reina or a Mikumo ;_;

For some reason they only charged me 1,200 yen for shipping (to United States). Wonder if that will work.

I hope they are already on the boat to Volks USA then, otherwise it may be May before I get Saber...

Got my shipping notice for Freyja today!

So, I was just sitting around wondering when my Freyja might ship and decided to check in here. I'm glad I did because I see she started shipping. So, I logged into Volks and see mine is already here in the US. For some reason, I never got the shipping notice. I'm so excited she'll be home this week!!!

To be honest, I've almost completely forgotten that I had the Santa Saber outfit on order. The time between lottery and release doesn't help, either. I figured I'd check what the status of my order was and says "Processed". I'll have to give them a call to see if it's ready for pick up. Sent them an e-mail and it'll be ready at the beginning of April.

 

It really doesn't help either that there aren't any e-mails sent to let people know what's going on. Since I'm a store pick up, they'll be e-mailing to let me know when I can take an extended lunch to go pick it up. Really sucks that they're not open on the weekends like at the old location.

Once Volks USA ships, it normally takes 2 days to get to me. So if they'll have them at the beginning of April, does that mean I'll have her for Easter?!?

I only entered for the swim suit but I'm really happy it's almost on it's way to me and Renata (Saber Alter 2). It's gotten much warmer here in GA. Still a bit early for swimsuit pics but what the heck, I'm excited!

Just got an email from Volks USA that the Alter outfit has shipped, so I'm guessing it'll be here just after the weekend. Now to wait for next x-mas
