daymien Posted November 9, 2016 Any good stands to recommend other Volks' wooden base stands or their clear stand(which I heard is quite fragile)? Saw a couple on Taobao but I'm unsure which is good. I'm just looking for a stand to support my dolls in a standing pose. Thanks!
Cauldroness Posted November 9, 2016 The "invisible" stands from Alice's Collections are great! http://www.acbjd.com/invisable-doll-stand-p-8630.html?cPath=145&zenid=6ae68ef86811d5a68e3dd8ed66a4c186 Get the 1/4 MSD size if you like to put the clamp on the thigh, or the 1/3 SD size if you like to put the clamp on the waist. I have 2 of the SD sizes and 1 of the MSD size and I love them all. Very sturdy, no risk of girls falling over! Doll Photos & Doll Jewelry Sales: Follow me on Instagram! K-2 Posted November 9, 2016 These work well and don't cost a fortune. The taller ones will extend up and grip at the waist. http://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Dollmaking/Tools-Stands/Doll-Stand-with-Coated-Gripper/p/DM50310
sinclair Posted November 9, 2016 At $3 each I need to go to the local HL and get one.
daymien Posted November 10, 2016 Thanks for all the recommendations! I'm surprised that there are actually stands that cost less than 10 and they look rather stable. Guess I will grab some and try them out (:
