After so much being in the last couple ones of stuff I wanted, there was only really one thing I plan on going after for now, the MDD maidish outfit. But it's nice to see some desired outfits are being released.

I'm such a sucker for the winter coat sets. I love the one with the white turtle neck.

God that dreaming Williams so, so handsome~~ I honestly admit I think I'm actually more excited for the SD news side of this than the DD.

 

Saber Santa is still tempting. A boring re-release, that I agree with, but doesn't surprise me. Type-Moon and Volks are just really great friends and both like to make money. It is too bad no other companies seem to be on board for that. *shrugs* I may go for her, I really love Alter, but I hate managing WS. (I have been corrected) I just don't know if I'm up for WS again. Why not SWS? It is really nice and still would fit.

 

Makes me feel like you are just trying to get rid of excess stock and only will have to make a small amount to fill that void. I know that's unlikely, but it seems strange to use WS when they haven't in, well, since her release?

I'm surprised Saber is in white skin But also happy that Volks hasn't completely given up on WS. I love WS and SWS is nice but just not a replacement for WS.

Agree I'm more tempted by Williams than the DD stuff, though I may try to pick up the re-released black shoes and one of the smaller size swallowtail maid outfits.

One outfit that I have a strong want for. One or two outfits with a moderate want for. One outfit a maybe.

 

And I'd like to get the re-released mary janes for my girls.

 

So, a few things to look forward to, but ultimately depending on what kind of mood I'm in when they hit VolksUSA.

It looks that way as they have a price for both. But can someone tell from those pages if Alter is a lottery or a pre-order? If she's a pre-order, then it looks like I'll get my 1st Alter. But if she's a lottery I'll probably pass.

Yes, that and the ponytail wig are VS/VIP only. Probably the VN71 limited items that you can only order via a special paper form included with Volks News when it's mailed out. It's generally possible to order more than one copy of each item (sometimes unlimited copies, depending on what the form says that month), so the purple wig will probably show up on YJ in a few months once they get delivered.

 

Aside: Volks does that each issue as a perk for VS/VIP, but the items aren't always doll-related so they may not always show up on doll-forum scans of the issue. (There's figure and model stuff in the actual VN magazine too - all the company's hobby lines.)

Per an email I just got from Volks USA Saber Santa Version Full Set, plus two additional outfits will be lottery. You can also go for just her outfit.

I'm a sucker for Christmas themed outfits so I'll have to enter for that. Also, the wintery blue label outfit is pretty cute. Apart from those I'm safe from everything.

The Saber Alter Christmas full set will be lottery too. I've had really good luck in the USA lotteries for clothing items. Granted I haven't tried for anything really hard like Ribbon Girl, or a full LE doll, from VolksUSA.

I really like freyja's outfit (the one with the cape). I might be open to doing a split with someone for that. The rest I'm pretty meh on.

Too bad that brown stripes kimono is for dddy only, i wonder if it fits dd with L bust??

Gah. I really want Santa Alter. I'm a sucker for Fate/GO played since it's start and her event was so cute. Sooo... with the new regulations, dollpa is on the 18th December, is the lottery the same day or is the after event beginning of january? I'm a bit confused.

haaaa, Freyja's extra hand parts are totally throwing some gang symbols! Girl absolutely reprzentin some 2Pac West Coast!!

I love the Midnight Flower Dress. Just the under blue bit though, not so huge on the jacket/vest and the ears. So if anyone was interested in the jacket/vest part and the ears I will definitely do a split with them.

 

As for Josephine March... damn that's a nice dress. I wish they sold it separately.

Volks news also says that at Dollpa there will be a big Fate display of all the current Faye related DDS, to celebrate the new santa Alter. There's also going to be a Super Dollfie of Shirou and Kiritsugu with them. This is similar to how they had the SD of Alto to display with Sheryl and Ranka. I have no idea if he was ever sold though or was just for display, possibly the latter... but dammit, Volks! Just make them vinyl ;-; You couldn't pay me to care about Shirou but Kerry would be so cool...
