DDdy anyone?

I just got my dearest Yukino and I am already thinking about my next DD. Shame on me... (or not )

 

How many of you have a DDdy? I think their body looks awesome, but I was searching for clothes for them and I didn't find much.

 

Is it really hard to find or is it me who doesn't know where to look at?

 

Any info, tips and experience with DDdys is more than welcome.

From what I saw, we have a great number of DDdy in the forum.... I don't know very much about clothes. But I saw a lot of DDdy underwear on sale... It is difficult to find a nice lingerie for Beato, as all the sexy sets are marked for DDdy...

That will get you started! Alices Collections clothes fit most DDdy girls but they will be tight across the chest. Same with the Mint On Card stuff.

My Agatha is a DDDy, but she's picky enough that I've often found it easier to just sew for her than to try to buy her stuff. (A lot of things that fit DDDy are too modern and/or skimpy for her discerning tastes.)

 

However, I recall reading on Den of Angels from other people that Soom Super Gem and SD16 size stuff fits them, especially if you're willing to take a few small tucks in the waist or to hem longer skirts. (In fact, many outfits Volks has released for SD16 since the DDDy came out have also been labeled as able to fit DDDy.) I don't remember if anyone has tried Iplehouse SID stuff on them, but since as I recall that SIDs are similar to Super Gems and SD16s I think there's a good chance those will work.

My Miu is a DDdy! Before I got her, I actually wanted a DDdy because of the challenging nature of finding clothes for them! It definitely takes some creativity! You cant just look for stuff marked "DDdy" unless your buying from Volks. Other places sell things that will fit them (as Balldylox pointed out), you just have to pay more attention to measurements and if the cloth with give! XD

 

You can check Dollmore as well! My fiance has ordered some things from them like this: http://dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=6810 and it actually fit his Yoko because of the stretchy material! XD

Underwear is really not a problem for DDdy, but I could not find many clothes at first.

Your Miu is really a sweetie! I think I was way too fixed on the DDdy thing and that is why I was not able to find much.

Volks has put out lots and lots of clothes for DDdy!!! Some may be quite pricey now though. Sd16 can fit too depending what it is!!!

I LOVE the DDdy body, it's so lovely and shapely XD

 

One tip, I've found SD13 boy clothes, and SD16 girl clothes often also fit the DDdy bodies quite nicely

To me the DDdy looks somewhat unnatural.

Because your spine would be very wierd of you had both nice boobs and a nice butt, but that's just me.

 

Not saying it's a bad body, it just looks a bit wonky to me.

You know, I thought this exact thing when I saw pictures of them... and I was terrified when I opened up Alna's box and saw her body for the first time... but... once i put the clothes on her, I fell in love.

 

The curves look AWESOME in clothing, and for me, it's hard to get that to come across in photos a lot of the time.
