Japanese Souvenirs from Pim-chan

Setsuko, Sakura, and Mashiro present the Omiyage (souvenirs) we received from Pim-chan who traveled home to Thailand and to Japan on vacation.

 

 

Setsuko has a dark green tea packet. Such a lovely color!

 

Here is another tea with bright spring green packaging.

 

Sakura has one of the teas with little pinky flowers on the packaging. So cute!

This is a Chrysanthemum tea from Thailand!

 

Here is a pouch made from Kimono fabric. Look at the details in the fabric. There are little flowers and blue swirls. So pretty!

 

The set also came with a little mirror. It is perfect scale!

There is lovely Kimono fabric on the non-reflective side of the mirror.

 

We also received this fantastic Kit Kat specimen. This one is a chocolaty variety. It is "otona no amasa" which means adult level sweetness. It is not as sweet as other Kit Kats.

 

This one is green tea flavored.

 

Everything came in such cute gift packaging.

Such beautiful girls. Sakura is one of the nicest looking girls I've seen. Plus I love seeing Mashiro.

 

So I suppose you like tea? Pim did great on hooking yall up! The mirror is especially cool.

Thank you, Galvatim and Baldylox! Pim-chan really gave us great souvenirs. We both drink a lot of tea. We often bake or buy cakes or other desserts to have tea parties in the lab.

I know I've said this before Mitsuki but your workplace sounds like the coolest place to work ever! Do yall need a janitor? Maybe someone to help feed the kittehs or something? I soooo want to work there and have fun too! I can even be tool b1tch if needed. I can hand you test tubes and instruments all day!

I love it here too. It is a very different working environment even compared to other labs. That would be great to have more guys to carry heavy ultracentrifuge rotors and catch kittehs.

I absolutely LOVE Ito-En tea!!! Oi Ocha Dark for the win!!! It actually stands up to ice and makes it beg for mercy. And I was in LT on Sunday and tried the dark Kit-Kat. It's quite nommable.
