Saitoma Posted December 9, 2016 Hello! I just received my first doll and decided to join this forum. Hope to get along with everyone! I have small question! Can the hands be rotated? I tried to rotate them a bit, but they seemed kinda stiff and now I'm a little worried that they might break if I use too much force. So, is it safe? EDIT: It's DD Mirai Standard Version. sinclair Posted December 10, 2016 The answer is yes and no. There is a wrist/hand joint you can buy that has wrist rotation. but if you don't have said joint you can still rotate by firmly holding her hand and wrist and twist. The more you do it, the easier it'll be. The wrist/hand is on a round peg that has a little bump on the end that goes into her arm to keep it from falling out. Saitoma Posted December 10, 2016 Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it! I went ahead and rotated it. It feels like it could snap easily, but it does indeed rotate. I think I'll look into getting that alternative wrist/hand joint at some point when my budget allows it.
foo Posted December 10, 2016 The new ones actually add another degree of rotation. The normal wrist joint lets you do this, (same) The new wrist joint lets you twist it while it's still pointing in that direction, That let me do this, Vermilion Melty by bodolza, on Flickr Edit: Welcome to the hobby ^^
