Pokemon Sun and Moon anyone?

So Pokemon Sun and Moon for 3DS have been out for a month! Is anyone else playing? I finished the main story and now I'm working on filling my pokedex.

I have finished both. I am slowly working on the dex, though not with any particular priority since I'm waiting to transfer my living dex from gen6 once pokebank is live for gen7.

I am! I really like how fresh SM is compared to the previous games. I still like regular gyms over trials, but some of the trials in SM were great! The story was pretty good too imo. ^^ I just wish there was more to do postgame but that's normal I guess.

 

I usually don't try to fill up the pokedex but I think I will this time. I'm planning to replay the game sometime next month though so I'll do that then. I can't wait to explore Alola with my main team. A new friend(Rockruff!) will be joining the permanent lineup too so yay~

I have been playing! So far I really like the game, though I feel like the story was a little short compared to past games in the series- or maybe a lot short. However, I will say I love the islands and all of the new Pokemon. Also I love the Alolan themed original Pokemon from Kanto!

 

I have been recently testing out the SOS system in an attempt to get shiny Pokemon. So far I've had about a 1/4 ratio of finding shiny, but that will probably be decreasing soon. The very first time I tried it I got a shiny Tentacool. No luck on any since however, so it may have just been crazy odds that helped me out that time.

I've beaten the game and I have the Alola pokedex completed! ^^

I'm enjoying this game so much. The story and characters are great. I just wish they gave you more freedom in the main story, I felt like I was guided from place to place without any choice to explore really. Anyway, I'm trying really hard to fill my pokedex, something I've never actually achieved before (I tried with Pokemon Y, but gave up). It's actually kind of addicting, searching for new pokemon, leveling up to evolve ones, using GTS and Wonder trade...

I need some help with pokemon like Porygon 2 and legendaries (pokemon I need to trade back or ones I can't trust GTS people with). I have plenty to offer too.

I love it. The big thing that stands out to me is how expressive the characters are.

In Alpha Saphire and Omega Ruby, the characters tried to emote but they were all weirdly static and no one 'breathed' so it looked really weird and unnatural, so i'm glad they did a better job here.

 

Unfortunately even though I bought it the day it came out, I have hardly any time to play it, and am still only on the 3rd island. I really like it though. I enjoyed X while I was playing it but thinking back I barely remember much about it besides the Pokemon, but Sun/Moon has been very memorable for me so far.

i can't really give you the Legendary Pokis if you need them (I traded the spare ones with friends already) but if its to complete the pokedex and I will get them back, than thats no problem. (I also have Porygon 2 if you still need it xD)

I played the heck out of it when it first came out and cleared the game in a couple days. I loved it! Like others have said, it felt really fresh, and I got really attached to a lot of the characters (Gladion, anyone? XD).

 

But I was also a little disappointed in how guided the game was. The world also felt really big, but really empty? Like there were a lot of doors you couldn't open and buildings that were only there for show. Dungeons (or things like victory road and the power plant, anyway), were also very lacking.

 

So some complaints, but I liked the direction they were heading with this installment. I just wish they would do a sequel or afterstory of some sort--I felt like a lot of the characters still had a lot to offer.

I still love the fact that the extent of Team Skulls' evil is that they do bad hip hop at you

Gosh, I preordered the game but have gotten as far as picking my starter I need to play Sun again when I have time!

 

As for the newest set of Sun and Moon pokemon cards, I love the hyper rare cards in the set.
