Used an headcap and still stained!?

It's been a while since I've cared for my girls (bad me) so I started on my custom DDIII I use for different setups anyway, she was wearing a black wig with headcap and I was amazed how stained her head was weirdest off all, almost on top of her head and only lightly on the sides;

 

 

Does anybody got the same experience? Am I using the wrong cap?

Silicone caps don't prevent staining. They're to bulk out the size of the head and add some grip for larger wigs. I use silicone caps with a cloth cap over on all of my girls.

I put it under, but it will still serve the purpose on top I guess. I mostly use 9-10" wigs since it is a pain to get 8-9" on many of the newer/larger heads, so silicone caps help keep them tight. Either way will work, but I find it easier to put the silicone on first then a cloth cap over the top.

okay, i always was thinking the silicon caps are also working against staining , wow i will now need to buy some cloth head cap also , thank you very much for the informations
