Just a word of warning to anyone who has the Mikuzukin set - I was just changing my Miku from that outfit and found on one shoulder and the back of her neck is stained red pretty deep. Of all things, it's from the thread. The ooooonly bit of color between the white lining, of course it would find it's way into the vinyl

I have that with my set too (just on the shoulder), but I thought it was from the red fabric which is exposed where the sleeves are sewn on.

I hope I can get the Mikuzukin set. Thanks for the reminder on the red staining it does. I plan on washing it at least 2-3 times, then to make sure I have a body suit on my girl when she wears it.

Oh yes, bodysuit is a must!!

Not only is the dress so obnoxiously red, the zipper is too! (of course the white lining is purely for show... all the threads on the inside, plus zipper touch everything)

Protip: take off her head while getting her dressed. The high collar totallz could stain while you're arranging all those bow & hood snaps

 

Just a heads up - outfit's stockings plus bodysuit might make the shoes a bit difficult to get on. At least for me it did... suddenly there was too much bulk on her foot ;_;

Well, since you informed us I have taken the precaution and started putting on a body suit. Before what I did is just tape the areas which had the red thread exposed. Now I'm scared.

What's the worst w/ Volks staining is sometimes it's not from how the outfit is on the doll, but pulling it on!

Like, while you were wriggling that sleeve into perfect position up her arm, the problematic spot may have visited every centimeter of her arm so even if there's short sleeves there's an 'unexplained' wrist stain all of sudden like whaaaaaaat

Well, my Volks USA lottery entry is in. It's one of my higher priced lottery entries. I entered for Checkmate/Elegant, both of the Swallowtail Maid dreses, the SB-SD-167 shoes, and both of the ribbon socks. The girls are already vying over how to divvy up the loot, so hopefully I have another sweep.

Glad I wasn't the only one to go wow, that's a lot of money if I win it all. But at the same time I hope I do win it all. Waiting a week is going to kill me.

I guess everyone knows the drill by now. I ask if anyone has gotten an email yet.

 

Typically, after I post one of these questions, I get the email a few minutes later.

I came here to ask this same question as normally I have mine by 5pm local time. It's nearly 9pm and no email yet. But by using the user groups in my profile it looks like I won everything I put in for but the Miku outfit. Rats.

 

But I hope I get the email before I go to bed tomorrow night, otherwise I'll be in a bind as I won't be able to do anything about it until Monday morning, but that is normally too late.

As of 5PM CST Saturday I hadn't received an email. However, the User Groups were present and I was able to add the event items I entered for to my cart and check out. So, I went ahead and did so. I added a note to the order that these were my lottery items and I had not received the email, but since the items were available to me, I went ahead with them.

 

I guess I'll find out how important waiting for that email actually is.

10pm MST and still no email. I'm tempted to do the same as you, but looks like I can wait until 7am Monday. I wonder if anyone got emails.

I posted to their Facebook page about no emails going out, and they replied saying the emails will be going out next week sometime. Now I'm torn between waiting for the email, or go ahead and pay for them tomorrow morning. As seen from the Google cache it says "Result & Payment: 3/3 ~ 3/6 9:00 AM PT" but it seems that has changed. They should post an update about that on their site.

It looks like I got a lottery result email at 9:30 PM CST tonight (Sunday).

Yup, I got one late last night too. We have until Wednesday to pay now. I'll get that done tonight I hope.

It's my first time entering any volks lottery so idk if that's how it always is. ^^" The priority mail shipping quote for the cushion plus a pair of hands I added to my cart is cheaper than the previous quote for the cushion when I first entered the lottery so I'm unsure if it's really okay to check out and pay for everything just yet..

Yep, given what has been puzzled out so far, you've won the items and they've opened them up on the store for you as you've been able to see.

 

Should you check out? I don't know. I checked out the day before I got my email. My order shows processed, but I definitely don't have any shipping information on it yet. After I received the lottery result email, I sent a message to VolksUSA asking if everything was OK with my order and received no response. My credit card payment still shows as Pending, meaning it hasn't been confirmed.

 

The lottery email I got after the fact said the deadline for payment is the 8th. So, if you won items and haven't received an email yet, then send the store a message. There's still some time.

I just paid for my stuff. But if you can see the item, you should be able to buy it. If you want to be sure, go to the same page while logged out. If you can't see it, then it is set up just for you to buy. They must have really gotten behind this time, but there were a lot of things going on at once this weekend.

Well, my stuff shipped, so I guess everything is OK.

I got a shipping notice, but the tracking number shows it hasn't left Volks yet, for 3 days now. Did anyone get the Mikuzukin set? I had internet outage until last night, so I wasn't able to check the web store when they released the lottery leftovers. Not that the Mikuzukin set would make it as I'm sure it was limited numbers and highly wanted.

If someone mentioned this, then I missed it.

 

The sets I bought from this release came with the cardboard insert secured to the bag and a hook on the end. All other previous sets I've purchased were in the simple plastic bag.

I noticed that too. Perhaps they are hanging things better so they don't get all crumpled. It's neat, but I wish there was a way to remove the plastic things so I could get the cardboard out of the bag and use it to hang in a doll closet.

 

And I've got to say wow, even with measurements and photos, I was wholly unprepared for how large those round pillows were. My girls will love them.
