Fluffy Tank Fairy's Fairies!

Hi guys, long time no post! While normally I would simply post in the existing Azone 50 thread, it has come to my attention that most of my collection is not Azone nor 50! Hope y'all don't mind, I won't post very often.

 

Been "out" of the doll hobby for a while now, my current job demanding a lot of me, alongside every other little thing in the way, sadly relegated my little angels to their glass cabinet for what seemed like an eternity. Finally had the time to take one out to play, and the lucky girl was my Hime-chan!

 

I apologise for the mediocre photographs, I swear Hime face to face is significantly less grainy!

 

Additionally, finding a place to take photos that won't include my shameful home is difficult. It's in various states of being renovated, so there's lots of dust, dirt and mess.

I also apologise for all my stalkers who's seen these same photos four or five times in all the places I lurk. But you can forgive me, right? Look at how adorable she is!

And now it’s Nadeshiko’s turn in the spotlight!

Nadeshiko is the second oldest in the family of five that makes up my dolly collection. She’s normally a rambunctious, trouble-making tomboy; noisy and boisterous - and she’s not exactly the brightest either. But if you can keep her quiet, clean, and stationary long enough to get a photograph, you get a very beautiful young woman whose looks belie personality.

 

Nadeshiko is a Parabox Hime-Ane head, with a faceup by a Japanese artist known as yiu51919, on a Parabox 47cm body. Her shirt is an Azone 50cm piece and her pants are from Parabox, but intended for their 45/50cm boy bodies, which makes them a tight fit over Nadeshiko’s childbearing hips.

I haven't gone so far as to decide on an explicit cause but I can tell you she's very energetic, a bit dumb, doesn't really think things through, and likely did it doing something she shouldn't have been doing. Like climbing a tree or running through a bush. It's nothing permanent, she just needs to keep that patch on until her eye heals.

So that was the end of the photoshoot. The Creature of the Floor™ decided that right now would be a good time for some pats, and wouldn't leave me alone. In order to prevent the ultimate destruction of everything I hold dear (such as Mei and Mako) I had to drop everything to give the carpet-coloured demon what it wanted.

 

Mei and Makoto are the youngest of the five siblings in my doll family, although if one must split hairs (as the pair like to do) Makoto is the younger of the two - if only by a few minutes. Mei insists that she be called big sister, even though they share ages, birthdays, and even class at school. The pair are nearly inseparable, both having only a few close friends outside of each other.

 

They are both quiet children, generally well-behaved and studious; although Mei has more of a natural gift in that department than her brother, often helping him through subjects he struggles with.

 

Both Mei and Makoto are on Parabox 40cm bodies, Mei being a female S-bust and Makoto the newly-released male body. Mei is an Azone Misaki Mei character head, from the anime series Another. She was originally on a 50cm body until I decided she’d be cuter as a 40cm doll. Makoto is a Parabox Hime-Ane pre-painted head.

Obitsu makes vinyl dolls. Parabox, Azone, Angel Philia, Visuadoll (and a few others) use Obitsu bodies for their custom dolls. Each of these companies designs special parts for their dolls, which Obitsu manufactures exclusively for each company.

Haha, thanks. Hime is definitely the most girly out of all the family and I think she alongside her "boyfriend" Nadeshiko are the most photogenic of all my collection.

Thanks for that list K-2! There were a couple places I wasn't familiar with despite having owned Obitsu bodies for must be 5 years now haha. Registered an account with jauce and it looks like there's a couple of the AZ02 style bodies for sale... I've been wanting one for Kagura for a long time. As much as I love my Obitsu bodies, the basic 50cm can get a bit noodly at times, especially when the clothing starts coming off. And I can't see myself ever getting an Angel Philia body as they're just a little bit too high up on the lewd-o-meter for my taste. The AZ02 is a nice middle ground and would give Kagura-sama the busty onee-san shape her character has always had. Speaking of, she's due for her photoshoot soon, too.

It's nice to see Makoto-kun and almost all of your girls in their own thread! And goodness, that twin pic is just adorable~ So Kanojo is now Kagura? I can't wait for her photoshoot--I always thought she's one of the most striking girls here. ^^ Funny you mention you're on the lookout for an AZO2 body.. I'm looking for another one too. xD I love how they are curvy and more mature but not overly sexy. I'm sure she'll look great with it.

 

For my non-parabox Obitsu/Azone part needs I tend to use HLJ for the lower prices and SAL shipping shipping option. Oftentimes you have to wait a while for them because they usually have to order stuff from Obitsu, but the cheaper prices make it worth it to me. xD

Something to consider if the stock Obitsu 50cm is a little too plain, get a single part! You don't have to get the whole set (bust/hips/thighs) to get a more shapely look. Get a different bust or hips. They are all interchangeable.

 

Looking for a little more curve to those hips, look for a Type F or Type E abdomen.

Also the Type A parts (bust/hips/thighs) are eerily similar to the AZ02 hips and I bust.

Oh my! I didn't think these parts would be available to purchase separately and without limited editions. Thank you so much for showing me that.

 

I am liking the idea of a set of Type-A body parts. I want my lady to fill out her office uniform a bit better, but I really don't want a unnecessarily obscene body, and Type-A seems to fit the bill. I'm not a fan of the heavy blushing or the "trip to the freezer room" nipples on some of the busts.

is that just some blanket statement put down to cover their behind against pesky Japanese manufacturers, or will they ship me a Type-A bust not not the thighs or torso? I've never used a deputy service before, but might I have to finally bite the bullet and use one?

Most of the parts I've purchased were through Japan Auction Center either from an auction or from them buying at the Angel Philia or Real Art Project online store (see their "Shopping" heading in the left column). There have been quite a few parts auctions in the past 6+ months. The sellers can be a bit on the high side so if you can buy from one of the stores you'll get a better price.

Just last week I missed an auction for the Type A set (bust/torso/thighs). The auction started at 10000yen and was won for 11000yen. So there are deals to be had.
