Ever since seeing that dress, I've so wanted it, but I don't have nor plan to have, any girl that it would fit on. I wish Volks would release it for smaller busts.

Everyone, hell has frozen over. A stupendous event has occurred. No, I haven't learned how to take decent pictures. Instead, my girls now have a piece of furniture to sit on!

 

 

Cynthia: "What a disappointment. All the other girls get comfy couches and such. We get a hard wood bench. Where's the comfort?"

 

Laserbeak and Buzzsaw: "Squawk!"

 

Cynthia: "Great. I'm back to sharing space with Transformers."

 

 

 

Candy: "This isn't so bad. Cynthia acted like it was a torture chair."

 

Amber: "She tends to overreact. Plus, she's a bit like the princess and the pea."

 

Candy: "You know, she's been acting strange towards me since the morning after you taught me to play RPGs. Did she not want me to play?"

 

Amber: "Let's just say Cynthia is given to wild misconceptions."

 

 

 

Tecra: "This is pretty nice isn't it little moop? This would be a quite acceptable place to read."

 

Moop: "Moooooop."

 

 

Metroplex: "Hey gorgeous, mind if I sit here?"

 

Tecra: "Actually, I..."

 

Metroplex: "You sure are cute. How about we go out? You could see the city, if you know what I mean."

Cynthia: "Unlike you, my accessories don't have to meet child safety requirements. I can easily put your eye out with this!"

Tecra: "Cynthia is very protective, isn't she little moop?"

Haha that giant Transformer is awesome! I love how protective Cynthia is as well.

And Moop, as always, is adorable.

Congrats on getting that gorgeous bench! It looks perfect for sitting despite Cynthia's complaints! Maybe she would like it better if you padded her butt by tying a pillow on it?

Thanks for the compliments. I do these for myself, but it definitely makes me feel better when other people get some enjoyment out of them too. Plus, I get excited about my stuff and want to show it off.

I got it on ebay. Do a search for

 

windsor style wood doll

 

and you'll see the same bench interspersed with a lot of chairs. I'm thinking of ordering some of the chairs since I'm happy with how the bench worked out.

 

I've also seen a couple of the type of chair you have for Yaya. I might get one of those eventually, but there are some other big ticket items on the Dollfie Dream wishlist at the moment.

You know that game called "Trust" where you fall backwards and trust your friend to catch you? Amber played that with Optimus Prime today. I'm not sure if he was very happy about it.

 

 

Regarding Cynthia, I agree with Meguchi, it looks more like a teacher than a "school nurse set". I'm absolutely in love with Cynthia's look right now.

 

I was less impressed with Amber's Magical Snow set. I feel it's one of those outfits that looked much more appealing in the Volks product images than the actual item. But Amber likes it a lot. I think it really suits her. I can't lay my finger on exactly why, but it's definitely her style.

When Amber's coming down, you'll be right there to break her fall!

I was going to wait until my new girl had her own body before doing some kind of photo shoot with all my girls. Sadly, cirbleepstances keep delaying a body purchase.

 

Candy, being the kind hearted dollfie she is, volunteered to let the new girl borrow her body for a little while. And since Candy's body was bedecked out in cuteness inspired by Torino's Rin, the new girl was too heart meltingly adorable to not at least do one photo.

 

 

So, here's Ranka Lee. She was the first Dollfie Dream I ever seriously considered ordering. As odd as it sounds, she has been a grail doll for me. Over time I've assembled her piece by piece. First her costume, then her wigs, then her eyes and head. Now all she lacks is a body of her own.

 

Unlike my other girls which I seem to always do eye and wig swaps to and give a new name, Ranka will just be Ranka (although her backstory might be that she's an android).

 

If things go according to plan, then sometime in January she will be complete.

If anyone is wondering about Candy, she's acclimating.

 

Candy: "I'm tired of always being dressed liked a powder puff. I want to relax and be non-prissy for a bit."

 

Me: "OK. Wear whatever you like."

You know, I'm not sure. In fact, I'm not sure if scale is a question which can even be answered in regards to Hasbro Star Wars vehicle toys.

 

It's the 2010 Legacy AT-AT. Its more in scale with the other vehicles in the line than previous versions, and all vehicles are a little bit underscaled in regards to the character figures. It absolutely towers above the previous versions of the AT-AT as well as the AT-ACT toy. As you can see, it matches height with a DD. So, going by that, it's about 1/37 whereas the figures are 1/18.
