Daisy-chan Posted January 9, 2017 The preview of the VINDOLL frame reminds me a lot of the DD frame. I wonder if they'd be hybrid-able like sticking Dollfie Dream legs onto the VINDOLL, for example. I guess we'll just have to wait for more information about VINDOLL to see. If they are anime-esque, it would be interesting to see. I wonder how Volks would react to more competition especially if VINDOLL comes in all the colors the other Granado dolls come in. Then I could more seriously consider putting together mah fave dorky troll babby without breaking my back lugging him around. And yes, that is indeed a very beefy foot. Gunter Posted January 11, 2017 I honestly didn't think there was any way possible they'd do an anime styled face, but I would have loved to been proven wrong on that. I just felt that was gonna be too far out of their range. Maybe in the future though. But a beefy vinyl doll is something of my dreams. I think they'll be using a similar thing to what Volks does for their face-ups, which I'm fascinated to see with their face-up style. Oh....would it be possible that even though he's got a more muscular face that his face-up would be a bit reminiscent of a anime-style? Again, I think no, but fun thought. That said, it'd be awesome if the body wound up being available by itself, too. . . Even with a resin head, the vinyl body would make him crazy light for a 65cm beefcake. If I were going to have a huge beefcake that didn't fit in with my anime style collection at all I'd want him to still have a face I love. And then he'd probably need a more realistic companion, but I'd have to wait to see if they make a female in that line I like since I hate posing resins... Definitely not for the bronze one that's being shown off but maybe if they made a VINDOLL in the other colors they have available? I don't know how well their white or normal matches up with Volks', though. If anyone has a Granado doll in these colors and can put up a comparison, that'd be great. Gunter Posted January 16, 2017 Man, they just said it weighs 55% less than their resin counterpart. What a decrease! I've handled a lot of very muscled SD dolls, and especially in the case of the Iplehouse EID, Soom Mega Gem, and Volks SDGou they are heavy. Just thinking of a body of that type with the weight halved sounds amazing to me. Even though I secretly kinda like the weight of resin. I think it comes with the fact that my first doll was a 70cm doll, so heavy was what I was used to. (This was yeaaaars before those lines even existed--Soom had like two or three dolls haha).
