Heidi Posted November 30, 2011 About the Ikea furniture Max just posted photos of- It's a pretty darn good deal for DDs if you are looking for one. $100 for the unit plus $50 for the doors if you want them. Saying I've bought a lot of ikea furniture doesn't go far enough, but of all the things I have bought from them, this is one of the nicest made pieces of furniture. It's made like a pricey cabinet. I think when we have a bigger place I'll buy another because it's nice and sturdy. I highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a solution for storing your dolls. The backboard is this cute striped pattern. It just looks appropriate for dolls LOL Oooo...you guys bought it? It looks super cute, especially with all your girls inside. How does it compare to the Besta? I want to get one or the other soon, and don't picture us ever having more than four girls (of course that could always change lol). MisterAmishrolf Posted December 19, 2011 i would definitely love to get Kanu her own "room". for now, she shares mine where she is either on my drawing desk in the closet or hanging out on my computer desk. i think a glass casing would be great, and not just for her, although it would require freeing up some room space. DJStarstryker Posted December 25, 2011 I so far only have 1 DD (2 more are on order and will be coming next year), DD Rin. She's about 2 1/2 years old. Until I got her a stand last spring in Japan, I'd just sit her on top of my dresser when I wasn't doing anything with her. Once I got the stand, I mostly stood her up with it on a nice table in the living room. But now she has a really nice couch and mostly lounges (sometimes sitting, sometimes laying) on it. Till Troll Posted December 29, 2011 My Smadal bookcase arrived today! I've almost finished putting it together, I've already cleared the alcove in my craft room for it, I am so excited! animex99 Posted December 30, 2011 My girls sit on a coffee table I have sitting at the foot of my bed, next to my notebook computer. They are on a white towel.
