Resin Head on MDDII Body

Recommended Posts

moevelvet

Hello!

I have a Doll Family Anthony head and I've bought a MDDII body to put it on.

What would be the best method to go about doing this? Does the MDDII neck differ from the MDDIII?

I don't currently have access to the body since its waiting at my boyfriend's house in Canada, so I hope someone can prepare me for this!

The MDDIII neck peg is curved towards the back, but that's about it.

I put a resin Out of Base head on an MDDIII. I sueded the neck socket with white craft foam (it's what I had, lol), put the head on the peg, and then put two tiny rubber O-rings on the peg, inside the head. Worked a treat.

Now that I have her head and body together, the neck cirbleepference doesn't look too bad. Where would I get O-rings?

I just got them at Home Depot--brought her in with me so I could check the o-rings against the diameter of the neck peg, and got a size just a hair smaller. (THey're rubber, so they stretch.) Nobody even blinked at the fact that I had a plastic midget with me, missing the back of her skull.

lol I don't know if I could do that haha, maybe the boyfriend has a bag I can put her in, especially since we're taking public transit.
