Hey, nothing wrong with breaking gender binary a little SolicitorPirate, I am totally in love with Neela's hoodie!! It's super super stylish-- almost looks like something that would be sold in like, a doll-sized UNIQLO. Does the front come undone? I don't know what purpose the front panel would serve if it did, but it'd still be cool Sanada wears those overalls really well. Loving the sunglasses too, very futuristic looking and super ultra. And nah, the buttons up front are merely decorative, and as you said, they wouldn't serve much purpose even if they did open And yeah, if those sunglasses were purple tinted, they'd really look like the Major's! I wonder if anyone has ever done a character doll of her or any of the GitS cast. The doll aesthetic would be perfect for her given her cyborg nature. Now when you mentioned it I am planning to do a doll of Major using Smart Doll body and a microcomputer inside (she just has to be a real cyborg, doesn't she?), but I need to figure out the hardware and software first, before starting customizing a doll. As far as BJDs go, there was a strung doll in probably MSD size that was made to go along with the collector's edition of GitS: Innocence. It was modeled after the HADALY gynoids in the film. She is/was pretty much my grail (as a total GitS nerd) and I ended up getting her along with the set itself last year I thought I saw a Motoko DD floating around online once, if I can dig her up again maybe I'll make a thread in the character concepts board. If I ever got better at modding I was thinking of trying to make Batou out of one of the 27cm Obitsu bodies. I have a few other pieces of clothing from TTYA and I really like them!! My only issue is that some of the darker colors aren't lined. Need to get my girls some bodysuits... Besides, I think a Twilight in milk would look good as Motoko I just took a real hard look at that sculpt and I actually think it would suit her really well.
